I guess that's what i was trying to illuminate here -
you can't in 49 states, unless the type of gambling you are doing is sanctioned by the state (casinos, lottery, race track, etc.). Nevada is the only state i know of that allows gambling on football, basketball, etc. So if you're doing it in say, Jersey, you must have your winnings laundered through your illegal ring.

But aren't the leafs like # 9 in the conference?
Two goals in nine seconds. 8) Whaddya think direwolf? I only caught the last few minutes of the third period. Another win for Vancouver over Calgary!  I gotta get my taunting in while I can because the Nucks could go on a 10 game losing streak at any time.

auld stole us that game...although a win is a win!!

Manitoba Moose 2, Calgary Flames 1.
That was frustrating as hell to watch. This game was ours for the taking, and once again the Flames shot themselves in the foot and collapsed like a cheap tent, allowing the injury plagued Canucks to tie- and then win- the game. And somebody needs to give our invisible $7 million man a good swift kick in the ass. Iggy is supposed to be the diffence maker in games like this, and once again he didn't show up. I don't care how tired he is from his flight back from Italy. This guy needs to step it up, start earning his freakin' paycheck and lead this team. The least he could do is take a pay cut so Darryl can beef up our offence for the stretch drive.
Full marks to the 'Nucks for the win though. They played hard. But f**k do I ever hate that douchebag, Ruutu.

Yeah, Ruutu is a punk.
Hey, did I read correctly that Bryan Marchment made his return to the lineup? I thought his career was over but ............
Cale Hulse sucks so he won't help the Flames any.
i know a lot of people think rutuu is a punk, but i just wish bert played with half of the energy level and effort he puts out

Yeah, I like Ruutu's effort, I just don't like his style. He's too dirty and dives too much. If Bert put in ANY effort at all he might just be an asset.
Flames win!!! Iggy scored twice and got into a fight, our PK was perfect, and despite only facing 21 shots, Kipper made some crazy saves tonight. All in all, a solid win by the boys, and it was great to see them play with so much emotion tonight after that ugly loss to the Canuckleheads on Tuesday. Scary to see Yelle go down after blocking that shot though. I hope he's ok, because without him our special teams are f**ked.

I think Marchment should smack Iginla in the face before every game to get him pumped up. When Iginla is playing with an edge and is angry, he's DOMINANT. The problem is that he hasn't done that enough this year to earn his salary.

Agreed. He's been so damn streaky this year, and as a fan it can get pretty frustrating, considering the amount of money we're paying him. I just hope he can build on a night like tonight and turn it into a hot streak for the stretch drive and into the playoffs. When he gets going, he's one of those rare players who can single-handedly take control of a game. He was really fun to watch tonight.

He really landed a couple of solid shots against Jackman, didn't he?
I guess with the Leafs being dead to me this season I should start enjoying the home team.

On a positive note direwolf, we all know the intensity level in the playoffs jumps up and that's where Iginla shines.
He'll be great in the playoffs when the games get rough and tough, as evidenced by his DOMINANCE against the Nucks last playoff season.
wow..3-0 to the blackhawks after one period, and we lose kessler..i have a feeling the nucks may not make the playoffs
That seemed like the Iggy that Flames and hockey fans have come to know and love... two goals and beatin' the holy hell out of somebody in that fight, that's Iggy at his best.
