anyone on TSN to count to anything above 5 is asking a lot.

On the brighter side - HABS won... in HD!!
I can't wait for RDS to get their HD feed... That might be the only chance to get a decent amount of Habs games in HD....

That guy was good. I mean, very accurate. So close yet so far. Tough break but he and his buddies still won the TRUCK OF THE YEAR.
The game was the first time I've been genuinely entertained this season by a hockey game. It was so much sweeter than the Nucks pulled it out in OT. Both goalies stunk up the place but luckily Salo won it by shooting it off the stick of a Flames player. Naslund is just useless out there. Either he is injured or washed up. Either way, he's hurting the team. The game would have been more exciting if the goalies played well but oh well, it was still entertaining enough.........despite Healy and crew. :rambo:

Is there any definitive information out there relating to RDS becoming a High Def channel...such as when?
I was also wondering if there are any Bell Expressvu experts on this forum...can anyone confirm that RDS is available only right now as part of a French "Theme Pack" as opposed to a Sports "Theme Pack"? I'm contemplating a conversion from Cable to satellite and that's what my Bell brochure is showing. It also looks like you can not buy RDS as a standalone channel???
bell sucks..they'll dick you over as much as they can, and their customer service is probably the worst i've ever encountered in my life

I am so damn frustrated with the New York Rangers right now. Two weeks ago everything looked great, the team appeared primed to take control of the Atlantic division, they were fresh off an impressive 5-2 win over the Dallas Stars to extend their winning streak to 5 games, the offense was filling the nets at will, they were getting superb goaltending from both Lundqvist & Weekes...now here we are just 2 weeks later and they've lost 7 in a row, dropping their record to 18-17-4 (from 18-10-4...that's 7 straight regulation losses!). The goaltending was horrible for the first 5 losses, but Lundqvist played well in the 2-0 loss to the Islanders, and he was terrific again tonight in the 1-0 loss to the Senators. The problem the last couple of games now has been their offense, it's completely dried up. They haven't really even been getting many quailty chances at all.
On a more positive note...i'm FINALLY going to my first NHL game. February 22nd, New Jersey Devils vs. New York Rangers at MSG in NYC!! I just bought the tickets about 5 minutes ago
I'm also going to the New Jersey Nets vs. New York Knicks game on the 25th.
What an absolute crazy game tonight between the Caps/Rangers. The losing streak is finally over! Lots of fights in this one...Orr/Brashear, Shanahan/Brashear, Orr/Morrison, etc.
And Donald Brashear is an idiot!!
