I wouldn't be surprised if that happens.
I think Ruff is gonna get the heave ho next season...he's done his time in Buffalo.
Where's that coming from? He got a team that the "experts" said couldn't play together to do just that. He had his team 1 period away from their second trip to the finals hin his time as a coach. I don't thinkl he's going anywhere.

yeah..owners hate it when a team gets to one game away from the finals :?

No kidding! I think is the first time I've ever heard someone say that a coach of the year nominee is gonna get canned next season.....before they even handed out the award for this season.
What a joke for the cup....
Canadian redneck city vs American redneck city
The only (and I mean ONLY) positive about this is that now I don't have to sell my DMB tickets on June 14 or Hip tickets on June 17 (games 5 and 6).
Then again, Sabres would have probably swept and my world would be perfect.

If you've EVER been to Edmonton, you know it's NOT a redneck city. It's bluecollar. Let's not stereotype the whole city.
In my opinion, that's a pretty redneck comment to make.

I concur.
I just think someone is cranky-pants because their team didn't make it. So let's resort to name calling
Prediction:
Split of first two games
Oilers Win both at home
Carolina wins return game
Oil take it at home.
Oilers in 6.
I think I changed my mind about Edmonton. I think I would rather them win the Cup than the Hurricanes.
BTW, from what I saw of game 7 last night, it was horrible hockey. I heard someone on Sportsnet call it a "thrilling" game 7. I want the drugs that he's taking.

Chara to the Rangers for $9 million? I hope your right, and not Grapes.
And according to http://www.thefourthperiod.com the Rangers are one of the teams vying for Chara, for as much as $8 million a season. Please, no Chara on the Rangers! I'd rather them take that $$ and upgrade the defense by adding a couple of bodies, the likes of Jay McKee and co.
ryan93 Wrote:Chara to the Rangers for $9 million? I hope your right, and not Grapes.
If Chara does get $8-9 large, then McCabe was a relative STEAL at $5.5 M...
And if I'm a Canucks fan, I'm getting ready to say goodbye to JovoCop...
i live in canada, but i get american tv(sattelite) is the finals going to be televised on any major networks like fox? or just on that center ice pay per view bs? :?

I've already accepted that there's a very slim chance Jovo re-signs in Vancouver. Oh well, not the end of the world. He's been oft injured of late and frankly isn't worth 6 mill a season.
