It's about time. Stupid bastard shouldn't have played another minute after running Roloson over last year.

Two assists in his Islanders' debut......

just wait until the giveaways start coming.

and the "ram the guy into your own goalie" move.
Rangers aside, I watch more Lightning games than any other team, and I can easily say that Vincent Lecavalier has hands down been the MVP of that team. He's been dominant most nights, and to quote Darryl Sydor, "he's the lead dog". Martin St.Louis is having a great season, and will easily put up personal bests across the board, but Lecavalier is the teams MVP.
You mean Daryl Sydor of the Dallas Stars?!? I know he played there last season but given that they play in different conferences this season.....

I'm just saying, you've got two guys on the same team playing on the same line putting up similar points, so I'm not sure how you can say one is any more valuable than the other. Meanwhile, in Pittsburgh, Crosby has 42% more points than his closest teammate, and in Vancouver, the only thing distinguishing the Vancouver Canucks from the Manitoba Moose is Roberto Luongo.

I agree...same line, similar points, similar plus/minus. You would have a hard time convincing anyone that Lecavalier is more valuable than St. Louis.

I almost fell off my chair laughing at that one!!

and on another note, the habs are pretty much done for the year

Yeah, pretty much.

Regarding the Habs, losing Huet certainly isn't a good sign but that guy they called up was supposed to be the best goalie in the AHL so maybe he'll carry them down the stretch. :rambo:

Ryan, good luck with the trip. Sounds like a pretty sweet gig to drive to MSG and see a game. :thumb:

I think Vinny is THE lead guy in Tampa but, yeah, I don't think he's quite up to par with Brodeur, Crosby, and Luongo so far this season. He might win the Rocket Richard trophy though, which will be a huge shock to me. I figured Kovalchuk and Ovechkin to be battling it out for that award. Maybe they still will when it's all said and done.
Wow, the Canucks are even winning with Sabourin. :thumb: I saw the 3rd period and OT and I think the Ducks were on the wrong end of the refereeing but I'm sure the Canucks will take it! Big Grin
Jaroslav Halak 2-0

Big test in Nashville on Thursday
Does it matter that the wins came against Columbus and Washington?

at this point we will take what we can get
Nice brawl in the Sens-Sabres game tonight...goalie fight and everything. "Sugar" Ray Emery got back from his suspension just in time. To me though, the original hit on Drury looked like a good, clean, legal hit. Pretty lowbrow move by Lindy Ruff to send out the goons against Heatley, Speeza, and Comrie, but it was entertaining nonetheless.

that was crazy but quite entertaining indeed ! "sugar" ray laughing and stuff lol
The only times I've been entertained watching the Sens play have been when the Leafs are either beating them up or eliminating them from the playoffs. I missed the Sens/Sabres game, mainly because I hate both teams with a passion, so I didn't think it would be worth my time. Perhaps I should have watched. Big Grin

.........nah, I don't think I really missed anything worth seeing. :rambo:
