Man, Pens looked great, then took a nap, almost got beat, but pulled it out. That is so disturbing to me. They may get away with that crap against the likes of Tampon Bay but not against anyone else that is playoff bound. Sid had a great game though and the whole team was gellin' when they got desperate.

BTW Sid is just 21 friggin' years old... he is gonna be all over those record books before he is done and he is not paid to be a fighter, doesn't wear the "C" for free, he can't fight, but at least he's done with the 'turtle' deal...he is growing up and he is a true team mate and leader, did I mention he is still only 21.

and... Malkin got 2 more pts.!! :jump but, why didn't they put Malkin in earlier with the empty net, I would have put him in.

I would say its pretty spot on , I agree with you on basically every point. I sure hope Price can figure things out over the summer, because there's no hope for the future with a guy like that in net for you. I think they may go ahead and try to trade Halak as well, its clear they don't want him, he'll never be more than a backup in Montreal. Maybe, he's not good enough to ever be a starter in the league, but you never know until you give him a shot, the times he's played this year I think he's looked pretty solid, with a lot of pressure on him as well.

That McDonaugh kid is supposed to be a very very good defenceman, and with Subban down there as well, I think both of those guys may get a shot next year. Even at their worst they can't be any worse than O'byrne, as you alluded to, and Breisbois.

Calgary Flames power play: 0 goals in their last 39 chances. Not sure if that's a record or not, but it must be getting close.

6 PP's tonight including two 5-on-3's and nothing to show for it. That's pretty much the story of the game tonight. Canucks were badly outplayed for basically 2 1/2 periods, but Luongo was amazing. Shots were 47-25 in favor of the Flames. We're not going anywhere in the playoffs unless we can figure out how to score with a man-advantage.

Well Price is starting again tonight.. so I'd say its still a huge possibility.

HUGE news out of Montreal, apparently, Schneider skated at practice this morning, and from what was reported, it will be up to him to determine wether or not he will play tonight, and if he feels that he's ready to go, that he will be dressed and in the lineup tonight in Boston...i'm sure his minutes would be limited stricttly to the power-play, but still, i'd have to say that this is good news. Regardless of what happens tonight, i just hope he can make it back for the 2nd season.

Oh my god say it ain't so...As far as Price starting what's wrong with you before he got sick he was playing great and the loss to the Rangers he had around 41 saves and brutal defense...The game is not over yet but it is 4-3 after the 2nd and he has made some big stops. Sure Halak has had some good games but he shit the bed when it mattered against Ottawa horrible winning goal he is not a starter in this league IMO.
