Guy Lafleur is the Gene Simmons of the NHL - he'd license his name to anything for a buck.
No, Guy Lafleur was actually the best at what he did for a time...the same cannot be said about Gene Simmons (unless we're talking about giving the ladies oral! that was probably the best "kiss" he ever participated in)...

That video of the Rangers pimping Sassoon jeans is very disturbing on many levels.
And I just cannot get over the "tucked" in jerseys...blah!!!!

hock:
Anyone else see this??

Absolutely, what a big win! Price was just amazing, and were back on top again, wooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!
GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!
All those hockey pundits who like to spout meaningless stats like "the Devils have beat the Habs in x of their y last meetings" are now confounded.
Price is looking pretty good with two shutouts since the trade deadline, and just the one weak game against the Sharks.
But ... they gotta do something about the number of shots they're giving up. That is the Habs single biggest weakness heading into the playoffs.

I think what was also impressive that it was more than just Kovalev's line that produced versus the Devils; that was really nice to see. If Montreal can have two solid lines in the playoffs, they could definitely go very far.
1st in the East, not too bad. I'm pretty damn happy.

Me too, its been a while since I've been this excited about one of my teams.. not since the Eagles made the Superbowl a few years ago.
This is what Brodeur said after the Habs game.. And after losing his first face-to-face meeting with future Hall of Famer Martin Brodeur 4-0 on Nov. 30, Price has now won their last two meetings, allowing one goal on 70 shots in the two games.
''It's impressive to watch him,'' Brodeur conceded. ''We had a lot of good chances.
''What I like is the way he moves to get rebounds and get the puck. His future is very bright. He'll get tested in the next few years with the pressure here.''
Nice praise coming from one the best ever, I really hope the Montreal media and pressure doesn't ruin this kid he's got tons of potential. The last thing we need is another Patrick Roy situation, which I dont think I'll ever get over.
