My guess is they were reading the whiny Baltimore Sun article by Willie Mcanhee (sp?) where he bitched and moaned that there was no place to party and therefore he was stuck home playing X-Box after practice. That's fine. We don't need them. The Sabres are perfectly happy with the current players that they have! The current players seem to be happy, well, 4 of them have over 30 goals! I guess its less pressure to play in places like Carolina, Tampa, Florida, Atlanta, Phoenix, Dallas. You know, places where you can hide your lack of talent because knowledgeable hockey people don't exist there and nobody holding you accountable because nobody gives a damn.

If Buffalo is so bad, why do so many ex-players and coaches and announcers live in Buffalo?

I dont know how the Sabres will be able to keep that team together, with that many players scoring so much, their salaries will go through the roof come contract time, seems like its destined to fall apart.

I wonder if Briere will stay or go, Id like to see him as a Hab. I doubt he would go there though, nobody great ever does anymore.
