Price was good, lots of saves, hope its a good confidence builder for him. Our defence looked slow and sloppy, I wasnt impressed. Its the first game so Ill go easy for now, but I saw some good but also alot of bad in that game.

Why are you always so negative? Yes, it sucks fucking balls that Markov is hurt already, but the war wages on regardless. They have to, and will, find ways to win in his absence, which hopefully, will not be a great length of time. It's a work in progress.

So get real, there's a difference between being negative and being realistic or logical. Does it suck that Markov is hurt, yes, is that being negative, no. Did the team look bad in some areas, yes, is that being negative, no, thats just being honest, it was plain to see.
Ive been following this team since birth, i live and breathe every thing they do and i follow them in good and bad, and im not afraid to criticise or call them out especially when i see things i dont like or moves that i dont agree with. And maybe im too harsh in my criticisms sometimes, thats only cause im such a huge fan, but thats Habs fans in a nutshell really isnt it? Montreal's harshest critics have always been their own fans, sometimes to the teams detrement. But thats not my intent.
Really? I'm a Leafs fan, so take this for what it's worth.
But I thought LK hit the nail on the head. Toronto outplayed Montreal most of last night. The Habs' defence was atrociously out of step. Price played very well. Toskala let it a bad angle goal on Montreal's second. Habs won.
I'm not knocking their win. Sometimes you win some didn't really earn, and sometimes you lose some you should have won.
And their best d-man being out already is not good at all.
On the other side of centre, Toskala still looked uncomfortable in net. Neither Komisarek nor Beauchemin had a good night. Komisarek sat in the box for two of Montreal's goals. The Grabovski-Stajan-Ponikarovsky line looked very good. Blake was a no-show. Schenn and Kaberle were still the best Leaf d-men last night. Orr kicked ass in his fight. And I hate Jay Rosehill and hope he doesn't play another game in blue and white - waste of space.
Word is Markov got his leg cut by Price's skate, he spent the night in hospital. I hope this isnt similar to what happened to Lang or he'll be out for a long time, if tendons got cut and he needs surgery.
got home from work last night turned on the game just in time to see the habs win in OT :thumb:
