If he stays healthy he will score more goals than Markus Naslund....mark my words. Nik is the kind of guy that could pot 30...too bad he's made of 100% fine bone china.
Here's something funny, I don't have a link, but the Red Wings didn't sell out last night's game. This is the first time in 10 years that this has happened.

Riddle me this...we trade away a TON for Mark Bell, a recovering alcoholic that just got out of rehab who can't even play right now due to suspension and a 4 million dollar goalie that can't crack the lineup on opening night. Way to fu*king go JFJ, you've proven once again how you are one of the worst GM's in Professional sports. And I don't want to hear about how Bell had to be included in the deal...if you didn't want to take Bell, you could have gone for another goalie.

And who can forget the $20 million dollar 4-man defensive backbone of Gill, Kubina, Kaberle and McCabe. With the exception of Kaberle who has the ability to show some skill on a semi-regular basis this Leaf defense could seriously be the worst in the league. Hal Gill is probably the worst skater in the entire NHL, he is physically incapable of turning to the outside to prevent players from driving the net.

Raycroft was the same old Raycroft last night...a couple above average saves but 2-3 weak goals at the wrong time, allowing the Sens to come from behind and steal the game that they had no business winning.

This must be how a heroin addict feels...he knows that doing his drugs are wrong but he loves them too much to quit.

Holy overreaction to one game!

Toskala will be the starter - just give it time. Goalies always seem to take a bit to adjust to new teams. Remember how craptacular Belfour was in his first month as a Leaf?
I don;t even try to pretend I know a thing aboot Hockey, but I thought some of you might care that the Bruins played golf at my course the other day. I met the Chief....very nice guy.

Perhaps I was a little harsh in my comments but I still stand by them. Bottom line is we don't have the horses to win this race...plain and simple. Trying to convince ourselves otherwise is foolish...but I will do everything in my power to still do so.

By the way..great effort tonight by the Leafs. Toskala played a great game. We simply were on the crap end of some shoddy refereeing ie. a ridiculous number of penalties (some deserved, many not), a reviewed goal for the Sens called by the NHL Head Office and a disallowed Leafs goal for a phantom "Goaltender Interference" It was such an egregious act of interference that no penalty was even handed out. We deserved better than 0 points tonight...oh well...there's still 80 games left.
Woo! Go Oilers! I thought you blew it with 10 seconds left, but you redeemed yourselves for once.

No he won't. Nazzy is over the hill but he'll still score more goals than Antropov this season. How about a sig bet?

State your terms.

The only stipulation I have is that each player plays a minimum of 70 games...which is a minor miracle in and of itself for Nik, as I think in the last 3 years he's only managed to play 78 games or something like that. Here's hoping he doesn't fall apart again this year.
Goulet, make the terms that tiger has to go a month without bitching, moaning, or whining. I bet he can't do it.

Ok. If either player plays less than 70 games, the bet is off.

I can't think of anything right now. Give me time.
