Who was that? He had a good run in the early to mid nineties but that's about it. That '94 Cup run, I would say that he possibly was great. Linden played out the string and has been irrelevant for the better part of the last ten years.

Where's Goulet? I think I lost my bet regarding Nazzy/Antropov. Nazzy should be crying about scoring less goals than Antropov. That's worth crying over much more than saying goodbye to Linden. 8) 8)

I've been bashing Linden for quite some time now, but you can't dismiss the impact he had on the Canucks and the City of Vancouver. Congrats Trevor on a career 95% of NHLers would kill for. :thumb:

I forget sometimes that he was briefly a Hab, looking back today at his career stats he put up some real good numbers early in his career and I agree most players would be happy with what he's accomplished. He was a good leader and a positive influence and did alot for kids whever he played which is hard to come by these days.
I always liked Linden, he wasn't the most gifted, but he palyed with a lot of heart.
We find out tomorrow night which team gets Steve Stamkos. Tampa Bay, Los Angeles, Atlanta, St.Louis & the NY Islanders all have a shot.

A team can only move up 4 spots, which is why Tampa Bay's odds of winning are actually over 48%, not 25%. If Buffao wins the lottery, they move up 4 spots & Tampa Bay gets 1st pick.

The only stipulation I have is that each player plays a minimum of 70 games...which is a minor miracle in and of itself for Nik, as I think in the last 3 years he's only managed to play 78 games or something like that. Here's hoping he doesn't fall apart again this year.

Time to pay the piper Tiger....as per our rules I hope to see the appropriate changes made to your signature by the beginning of the playoffs. Antropov pots 26 goals in 72 games while Nazzy goes the whole season and puts in a mere 25 goals. It was a very close bet but in the end there can only be one winner.

I actually forgot about that. I wonder why they "promote" it the way they do then showing all of the non-playoff teams with percentages of winning.

Would it be that horrible to be picked by Tampa?? They have Lecavalier, St.Louis, Boyle, and they now have Mike Smith, who now has a legitimate chance to be a starter.
I think the Lightning's future is bright. If I was Stamkos, I would hope for TB over the others!
Lightning aren't going anywhere, because at least one of those three players won't be there for much longer...
if i was him I would hope to be on the Thrashers or Islanders.
