But maybe that makes them a team that just isnt good enough. They cant put it together for 60 mins. I think it says alot if that type of effort becomes consistent. I watched the game and personallly i thought montreal deserved a better fate.
I raise my glass of milk to the Washington Capitals for once again defeating the Sens! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
Raycroft sitting against Boston.
Panic button pressed?

they seemed kinda tired...bnut what hurt them the most was having MArkov out of the lineup, i can't remember the exact stats, but since he's been on the team, when he's not playing, they pretty much lose ...
What's the hell is wrong with Rick Nash this season! 7 goals & 15 points in 24 games??

Of course, he has started something like 7 or 8 games in a row. On a positive note, Aubin is playing well.

yeah no kiddin eh, last year he was a lock in my hockey pool most of the season, this year i dropped him after week 2 or 3
How about that Rory Fitzpatrick...? !!
Anybody watching the Calgary/Minnesota game? The reffing is a complete joke. 15 penalties called so far, and it's only the end of the 2nd period. It's ridiculous.
By the way, Iggy got his 300th goal tonight to tie the game at 2-2. I hope he gets a hat trick tonight. One period to go. GO FLAMES!!!!
Good comeback by the Rangers tonight, Henrik Lundqvist has now stopped 22/22 in shootouts this season! He's also now 2/2 on penalty shots, stopping Jordan Staal earlier in the season & Nils Ekman tonight.

Different goalie, same result. I guess this proves that it's not Raycroft's fault...
Damn - anyone see Bouchard's sweet shootout goal last night?

Ugh...alright, I'm officially sick of shootouts. I absolutely HATE them. And I'm not just saying that because the Flames suck hard in them. I honestly think it's a shitty way to end a hockey game. Nothing annoys me more than seeing a team play their asses off and dominate the majority of a game (like the Flames did tonight) and then end up losing in a f**king skills competition. I just checked the stats and found out that Minnesota has been involved in 9 shootouts this year, winning 7 of them. That's a lot of garbage points.
As usual, I am too lazy to check the stats but I'm pretty sure the Leafs have been in 7 shootouts and lost 5 of them...exact same scenario as last year when we missed the playoffs by 2 points. On the bright side, we lost by 2 tonight and didn't need to suffer another shoot out defeat we just went ahead and took care of that "L" in the customary 60 minutes.
P.S. I'm sick of the Bruins. Time to change the unbalance in the schedule.
God, I'm so happy we beat the 'canes last night. takes away at least a bit of the sting of last season, albiet not much. Couldn't watch the game cause I was stuck on a plane
I can't believe we're playing so well with so many injuries. Smyth, Hemsky, Moreau, Staios...
Nice to see the younger guys like Winchester stepping up.
Go Oil!
