Winnipeg made the foolish mistake of building an arena that only holds 15,000. Too small to support the NHL, perfect for the AHL.
Crosby needs a severe ASS KICKING! He a cheap shot prick!

sorry to double post, but yeah, they took us to your game with 7-8 minutes to go in ours, when you had 1:30 or so to play, 3-1 game, didnt really make much sense at all, let us watch the game(s) we want to see
I agree, that was pointless. There were still two (three) stories in the Leaf game -- was Raycroft gonna get the shutout? was Tucker (or Kilger) gonna get the hattrick. I don't care about a 3-1 game I wasn't watching on Day Two of the season. A 3-2 game or a 2-1 game, maybe, would have been slightly different, but no less irritating. For Canucks fans, of course you wanna see your own post game. Classic case of trying to make everyone happy and pleasing no one.

You mean listening to the game live? Yeah, that's free. If you mean something else, then I dunno.. :?
God damn, that Leafs-Sens game was brutal. It was quite frustrating watching that massacre; I feel terrible for the Leafs' fans that had to endure that most of last year.
What an awful game by the Flames tonight. We had absolutely zero jump, and our PP is f**king useless. Thank god it's only the first game. Here's hoping for a better result on Saturday night.
Nothing sucks worse than losing the freakin' Greasers.
:nooooo

It won't get any easier for you on Saturday night.

So with a 6-0 ass kicking the next night, does that now mean the Sens are not in the Leafs' league?
I love one game generalizations in an 82 game season. Keep 'em coming!
well, a 6-0 win for the leafs is not in their best interests, although it is a positive for them. The last thing they need is over confidence.
Welcome to Vancouver, Mr. Luongo.

6-0 win by the Leafs, they're a lock to win the Stanley Cup this year, why even play the rest of the season
I think my Avs are in some big trouble. Joes gonna have to score a ton. If any other goalie has had more trouble adapting to the goalie equipment changes than Theodore I'd like to see him.

His name is Patrick Lalime
Thanks to Steven Reinprecht (taken in the 16th round), i'm off to an early lead in my hockey pool with his big 5 point game last night
There have been some great debutes so far. Such as Todd Bertuzzi tonight in Florida's win, nice 3 point game. Or Martin Havlat's 4 point game for Chicago...but the best has to be Brendan Shanahan's first game as a New York Ranger. Scores a beauty on a breakaway for his first goal as a Ranger (the eventual GWG no less) for career goal #599, then goes out and pots #600 in the 3rd.
And Daniel Briere just scored as i was typing this...how fucking awesome has this guy been post-lockout!!
i've seen more effort out of the 'nucks these first 2 games than i did all last season..keep it up boys!!
