Pronger is a coward. Using his elbow again right in the open. This is his second offence these playoffs so i think he should get suspended for not one but two games. Then hopefully when he returns he recieves and elbow himself. Dick.
That Alfredsson 'goal' should not have counted, IMO.
As for Pronger, as a repeat offender now, he should get at least 2 games. :rambo:
Yeah the Alfie goal was iffie. Winning by 2 makes it easier to swallow, than had the score been 4-3.

You'd think getting busted twice in a couple weeks he would have gotten more than 1 game, the guy is a repeat offender, what message does that send?
I hope they lose the next game and the series, way to help your team out jackass.
please...he's the best defenceman in the game. When you play on the edge, sometimes you get burned. Gordie Howe is revered for such things.

How is he a repeat offender?!? The first time he did it, he elbowed
Holmstrom in the head. This is a completely different situation. And for another thing, Holmstrom (a completely different guy) played for the
Red Wings, who are from a different City than Ottawa.
Now, if he elbows McAmmond in the head again in Game Five, then the league should really, really crack down on him (he should be suspended for at least a game). Except it'll be in Anaheim, not Ottawa, so that will be a mitigating factor.

Playing on the edge = skating toward the net?

I did happen to catch the elbow delivered by Pronger. I like Pronger as a player, I really do, he's tough and talented. That being said I would have been fine if he was suspended for two games, considering it was just, what, less than two weeks ago he got suspended for his hit on Holmstrom?
Colin Campbell has the most difficult job in hockey in determining suspensions, so anyone who thinks he's an idiot should just relax. Again, though, I will say that perhaps he made a mistake here.
All that being said... GO DUCKS!!!!!!

"i'm done"
The refs were shit for which team? If you think they screwed Ottawa, you're sadly mistaken.
Pronger will go down as one of the all time great defenseman in the history of the NHL. :rambo:
I don't blame you though, as far as not watching. Greg Millen's blatant Ottawa bias if enough to stop watching. :rambo: Or his lack of any coherent thought.....or his lack of ability to call a game in general....or his overall stupidity in general.

Finally, someone with some sense! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
If Alfie didn't get suspended for his hit from behind against the Buffalo player, I can't understand the outrage over Pronger's hit.
Pronger is a coward? That's the most hysterical thing I've heard this season.

What message does it send when Alfie continually gets away with hitting people from behind? Year after year after year......

Who's gonna elbow him? The midget pussies on Ottawa? Ottawa's supposed tough guy refuses to drop his gloves no matter what the situation. Nobody on Ottawa could reach Pronger. :rambo: :rambo:
Keep on supporting one of the dirtiest players in the NHL, though(Alfie). Good luck with that.

How is he a repeat offender?!?
Lets see he elbowed Holmstrom, than elbowed McAmmond, thats two offences in two weeks. More than one makes him a repeat offender, who cares if it was different players from different teams? What kind of stupid thinking is that, if Chris Simon had two-handed 4 different players across the head all season long, wouldnt you call him a repeat offender? I would. Just cause its a different player from a different city how does it make it any different?

It tells me the league needs to get its act together when it comes to punishing players, especially repeat offenders regardless of who they are. Unless Bettman needs you to sell tickets or tv rights, than you can do what you like.
