WOW!
hock:
Brodeur is one of the best ! If not the greatest?
He will have all the numeric accolades when all is said and done (not to mention a nationalistic place in my heart for that pad save on Hull) …. :jump
yet he needs a ConnieS* to make it right**
*shafted - 1995
**robbed outright 2003
I watched that game last night between Tampa/Jersey, and Brodeur made some great saves, especially one on Vinny Prospal in the 3rd period, that one was incredible. I haven't watched TSN or Sportsnet today, but i assume it shown on there.
That's two games in a row that Brodeur has shutout the team i was cheering for that i've watched....he was outstanding against the Rangers last week, and now again tonight. He's something else.

Yeah I saw the save you were talking about on Sportscentre last night, although I'm surprised at the lack of coverage that he's getting. To open the show, they did highlights from the 3 games involving Canadian teams, then Crosby, Ovechkin, Phoenix-Colorado, basketball (Raptors), a commercial break, Tennis (Aussie open women's final), Islanders-Atlanta, Nashville-Chicago, and then finally Brodeur. The guy is re-writing the record books as we speak, you'd think they'd pay a little bit more attention.
hey guys, any idea why jim hughson(sp?) is calling the leafs/habs game?

Bob Cole is in the hospital. McLean made reference to it at the start of the game.
F*#&N HABS! Dam penalties.. :x :x
With 8 mins left in the game, it looks like the Leafs will get the win, and with that, take the lead in the season series against the Habs....although stranger things have happened. That 3rd period jinx has been a tough one this season for Leaf fans.
quite the show by crosby last night, that was a sweet goal. i sure hope pittsburgh trades for some help on d and i think the playoff drought may finally be over
The Sabres are god awful right now! They need a shakeup. Maybe get rid of some dead weight like Kalinin or Kotalik. Send a message Darcy!

i'm a leafs fan but i'd love to see the pens make some big moves on the trade deadline, get into the playoffs and repeat what edmonton did last season and make to the final. maybe this way they will stay in pittsburgh and not go to KC. i'd hate to see them leave pittsburgh unless of course they were to come to Hamilton but we all know that won't happen.
I gotta say that if the Flames send Godard down again it is a real lack of class. They call him up just before playing the Wild twice just to fight the biggest goon in the league. And he did more than hold his own both times. Let the guy skate around on the 4th line for a couple of games at least. He sure as hell deserves it.
What happened to McCarty? Is he injured?
Roberto, thanks for last night's game.
Your's truly,

Craig Conroy is heading back to Calgary! What's left on his contract? Conroy didn't seem to be a great fit in Los Angeles, and i think LA did well to fetch 2 2nd rounds + Jamie Lundmark.
Another year at $2.4 mil. Yikes!
The Kings didn't get much for him. Lundmark sucks.
