And if one player makes the team, the team shouldn't make the playoffs anyway.
Look at the Pens: the way they've played without Crosby.
Oh well there is always next…..
In the meantime LEAF NAT41ON…

I think my team of the year for 07-08 is Boston. Not only did they roll over and let Montreal beat them 8 times this season, they offically put the Leafs out of the playoffs, for the third year in a row..fantastic!
Thanks Boston, I owe you a beer! :thumb:
GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!
Oh, boy. You just jinxed two of the remaining 5 games, LK. And cferneyh is going to be all over you if the Leafs win one of those....
On another topic, now Bertuzzi is suing Crawford. Which kind of lends credence to Moore's earlier allegation that the Canucks organization put a target on him -- Bertuzzi is corroborating it.
Nothing like sharing the love....

bah, if the highlight of his year is toronto beating montreal so be it, he can have that to hold on to until next year.
and I for one cant wait to see what becomes of this whole moore-bertuzzi-crawford incident, it should be interesting to see what comes out in the trial.

Nah, my highlight of the year is going to be the following:
- Buffalo missing the playoffs (and Sabres fans completely disappearing from here)
- the Sens getting knocked out in round one
I do miss getting excited about the playoffs though.....

That's the most ridiculous thing of all time.. the sheer stupidity of that is mind boggling. What is Bertuzzi going to say that Crawford hypnotized him in the locker room into breaking Moore's neck?
Barring a huge 3rd comeback, the Canucks are going to find themselves in 9th place after tonight. Both teams have pretty good schedules. The Preds have a tough game Sunday afternoon against Detroit, but then their last 3 are against St.Louis, St.Louis, Chicago - but 3 of the 4 are on the road.
Vancouver meanwhile has tougher opponents - Calgary, Colorado, Edmonton, Calgary - but all 4 are at home.
Should be a good race to the finish line, the Caps are making a push in the East too, but they are still 2 points behind the Bruins, and the B's have a game in hand.

this actually made me lol...
i agree, i was a little surprized when i heard about this too, i thought Bertuzzi would want to just be over and done with all of that stuff asap...
and i don't care if the leafs are missing the playoffs, they usually give the habs a good go, and tonight is another big divisional matchup for montreal. They might've already locked up a playoff spot, but these are all still realy big games in my eyes down the stretch.

Bertuzzi knows he's going to be paying a big settlement to Moore. He's trying to defray the cost.
When talking about the Capitals above, i completely forgot about the division, i didn't realize they had closed the gap on Carolina that quickly. Carolina are only 2 points up on the Caps now, each team has 3 games remaining, and they play each other on Tuesday. I might actually find myself watching a Washington/Carolina game!
way to go LK!
attn: habs fans...stop being so cocky, and just watch the games, we haven't won anything yet!
piss poor performance tonight, but i'm not surprised...all i can say is that Carbo better get these guys ready for the playoffs, because tonight, they didn't resemble anything even remotely close to a playoff team...
that being said, i have faith that they'll be back on top of their game in time for the second season.

Good point, now that we have had our fun with the Leafs, it is time to move on -- to playoff bound, cautionary Hab posts…
1. I do not like the idea of a Washington hook-up in round one, Ovechkin seems to like playing against the Habs and what if Gainey’s gamble (who got a shut out tonight) starts a stoning Les Canadiens ….
