New Orleans today - from 1995.
I think was during a break in the Page and Plant tour.
Very nice to hear Put It Off being worked out.
I am not sure the date is correct though.
Any rant calling Mike Harris a cunt is alright by me.

What a killer version of this tune.

Cheers,

Pat

the chilis are flimsy live. They have some truly excellent moments, but their stlist NEVER changes, and Anthony can warble off pitch sometimes
Holy shit. They really need to cover "View Master". I'm surprised we've never seen any Eric's Trip songs in their live catalogue. Maybe with all the covers this year...

That's the date I have for the show, and the songs seem to match up to the setlist . . .
Amazing SOTD! Thanks MAv!

And I hate to make a request MAv, but I was listening to Emperor Penguin today, and I couldn't remember when it was SOTD. If this is do-able, I think lots of fans would love it! Almost as much as they love NOIS/Put It Off! Man, the boys need to combine stuff like this again! Wow!
I've been waiting for "Thugs" for a while, would really make my day Smile

Sorry MAv you may be right.
They played the 9:30 Club 10/19 and 10/20.
But at the end of New Orleans on your version (10/20) Gord is thanking the opening band - which makes more sense from the night before in the 9:30 club (10/19) - since the night before NOIS was played second to the last song. I just heard him saying "thank you" and it reminded me of the end of the set.
I'll have to take a listen to my copies, dumb stuff sticks in my mind sometimes.
OK, now back to the song of the day...
Sorry! :o
I was confused with We'll Go Too from New Mexico, as Thugs was a SOTD from the same concert as well!

...I think
Does no one else see the immensity of this? THEY SANG A VERSE FROM AN ERIC'S TRIP SONG. That's historic.
