it's the truth though....some bands are just totally inexcessible, whereas I feel that since you've become involved with the hip, we have much greater access, etc...sotd, live 10, constant updates, and you actually answer our questions for us all the time....a class act, just the boys in the band....
This is a cool version of Titanic, but the intro at the second Toronto show at The Phoenix blew this one out of the water. Johnny's 30 second baton drumstick intro was really spectacular in Toronto. I have a whole new view of this song after seeing it live - very cool!
You have to enjoy your vacation or your vacation will enjoy you. That's for sure.
Love Flamenco...not too big on Kate Fenner joining in though.
Today's SOTD is worth checkig out, a little different.
Today's SOTD (spoiler included).
1996 Extended Meridian. How classic.
I've never heard Meridian with "If you're freaked I'm fucked" and "Cookie Factory/Westwind"
-- and then 'Insomniacs of the World Goodnight'
-- and then the amazingness on top of the icing on the cake.... "So Hard Done By".
One of the best versions of 100th I've heard!
Wow MAv, from the 3 songs you've streamed from the Fremont show, it sounds like it was a killer show!
That would be an amazing livedownloads.com show...hint hint..nudge nudge...wink wink...know what I mean know what I mean :thumb:
I think this ranks #2... just behind Bath House Courage.
I dont ask much Mav but can you please please put this on the next Live 10, for the Love of god man, please!!!!!

Ditto.
Good lord that version was sick! I saw them the night before this recording in San Diego and I don't recall anything of this magnitude??? Wow.
I think this needs to stay up over the weekend, there is way too much happening to digest in one day, and I’ve listened to it 6 times already.
Here are two other suggestions for future Live 10 releases...
1) Put it Off - 11/18/96 (posted on 3/8/06)
2) NOIS - 10/27/95 (posted on 3/20/06)
That version of Put it Off is still my favorite SOTD even after 10+ months. And that version of NOIS from MSG with the shout out to Jerry Garcia shortly after his death has been stuck in my head since March 06.
jeeeesus. what a version of 100th meridian. its a marathon!!!11!
all these songs need to be released for the benefit of humanity. srlsly.
Would love to hear a live version of Thugs...
This version of 100th...Thanks MAv for reminding me why I love this band...
