Well I like it, but it's not one of my favourites.
Good version of Daredevil today.
I realize this is a few days late, but I didn't see any comments regarding the version of Lionized posted earlier this week?

After seeing it live in 1998 I developed a whole new appreciation for this song and thought the boys figured out how to capture it live. However, this version from 1995 shot down that theory, its by far the best version I have ever heard. The intro seems a tad bit longer than usual and the energy level is off the charts. I can't wait to own this once its available in the US.

Listening to Live 10, I found the timing off the intro guitars to be way off. But again, Lionized is an amazing live song.

Huh, very well could be. The intro did sound different and longer than usual. Maybe it was due to being off and trying to get back on track before the first verse? Either way, they could repeat the first 30 seconds of that song for 5 minutes and I wouldn't complain. I think you should just send me a copy of Volume 2 and let me judge for myself. Smile

For once the shoe is on the other foot, you guys want to head south to see The Hip at a 500 seat venue and I want to head north just so I can buy these damn recordings!
ah man, that version of Daredevil completely blew my mind. not one of my favourite songs either, but the acousitc higher in the mix just put it over the top

Haha, don't apologize man; the sotd is more of a luxury than anything else.

Thanks man!
He made up for it :thumb: :thumb: Great cut!
One of the most original SOTD up to date. Nice pick.
First ever performance of Train Overnight.
Train Overnight is my all time favourite hip song. Hopefully this stays up all day because I cant listen to it here at school, and wont be home until tonight.
I have a new appreciation for Train Overnight now. Very awesome.
WOW what a great version of "Overnight Train." its cool hearing an early version of a song taking form, the lyrics are noticabely different than the album version. Thanks MAv :thumb:

p.s. I hope I get the chance to hear this live someday
