Holy Sh1t! I don't know who cues up the tunes for the Hip Music player, but THANK YOU! Totally digging the "new" Hip songs from 1989 and early 90's! LOL I became a fan with Live Between Us and then on the Phantom Power tour and have probably seen 30-40 shows since, but I am not too familiar with the some of early work that doesn't make the setlists.

Not to sound ungrateful, but it seems like once you seem them 2-3 times now, you generally know what tune is coming next. (The cover tunes on this past tour was a nice bonus along with Fiddler's, 38 Yrs & Boots!)

Why don't the boys mix up the shows a lot more with these awesome "b-sides" like When the Weight Comes Down & Fight, etc. Put away Nautical, NOIS, 100th, etc for awhile (KEEP Fully! ) and dust off the rest of this truly awesome and underplayed catalog.

Don't worry, it didn't switch over for half the day, but Thugs is playing now (and a great version from a show I was at!!!)

Did I miss something? riddle me this...my player is saying Blonde Solid, but it's obviosly Thugs...so when I click on Blonde Solid it takes me to an unreleased song list with lyrics and a symbol to hear a sample and it aint working...is this something in beta?

When the SOTD is not updated it defaults to say Blonde Solid, but it will play the previous SOTD, in this case Thugs. MAv just hasn't gotten around to putting up a new song yet. Which works for me since I missed Thugs yesterday

Oh and by clicking on the song title in the SOTD it takes you to the lyrics page in discography, so since Blonde Solid is unreleased it takes you to the unreleased songs info. If it said Thugs and you clicked on the title it would take you to the Day for Night page under discography with the lyrics for Thugs.

Has anybody else noticed how the SOTD has been acting fishy lately, or is it just me?
It seems that the song doesn't change for me until later in the day. Yesterday, I didn't get No Threat until the afternoon, and I'm willing to bet that I won't be able to hear Fully Completely until this afternoon too. Its been doing this for a few days with me.

Anyone else have any insight?

Yes, somehting fishy is going on. The trigger on the server, which is supposed to basically move and rename the new xml file that has the new song information in it, has decided to stop working for some reason.

The song is getting posted to the database properly, but the xml seems to be getting stuck for some reason, so I have to do it manually.

I'm looking into it, hopefuly later today. Sorry about that. It's one of those things. worked for months and months and then just stopped for no reason. arg. pain in the ass

Yeah! it is rather strange...
Mon it was posted 'No Threat' and it wasn't.. Tues.. 'Fully, Completely' was posted and 'No Threat' played.. Yesterday evening it still said 'Fully Completely' and it was '700ft Ceiling'.. and now it's 'Blonde Solid' and still '700 Ceiling' although on the player it is posted as 'Fully, Completely' ..

Hopefully you straighten things out.. I would really like to listen to 'Fully, Completely'
