The first 20 minutes from First Avenue in Minneapolis last year -- great memories. First time I'd heard both "Nashville" and "Boots" live -- back to back, no less. Thanks, MAv!

I don't really know what to say about the Minneapolis SOTD... I turned it on while I was washing the dishes (I hate doing the dishes and listening to The Hip makes it go by quicker lol)

Gordie was screaming/straining more than i've ever noticed before and the whole band seemed to struggle through the whole clip... I found myself wishing my hands were dry and the computer was closer so I could actually turn it off... I'd hate to think that this was likely a lot of people's first time being introduced to The Hip lol

I love Boots or Hearts... This however sounded like a poor attempt at a cover by some people who formed a band to do cover songs of anything and everything...


I feel dirty, i've never reviewed anything "Hip" and not had mostly positive things to say about it before... The boys really had a rough go at this one :\
