Whoa! ummm Gord D., I just realized, has quite a nice voice. Downie covers 'The King'.. who would have ever thought
and reminds me of a Sermon I heard.. where Rev Dr. (Malcom) Sinclair mentioned the The Tragically Hip and a few more..(Smashing Pumpkins) ..
also, Dr. Sinclair worships Elvis Preseley, the same way my father did..
'No Escape for the like to Stay at Home Girl'
The (Live) Song of the Day selections have been really great this week (21, 22, 23 Jan).. I am hearing all the songs I would love to hear live...
Cheers! to The Live Song of the Day 8)
MAv, would it be at all possible to replay either Butts Wigglin' or Put It Off from the Nov. 18/96 Saskatoon show as a future SotD? They were both posted in the early beginnings of SotD.
I never had much appreciation for Butts Wigglin' until I heard that live version, and if I remember correctly, the version of Put It Off has to be one of their best ever. :thumb:

Thanks MAv! What a great song :thumb:
Now how would I download this, if it's legal? This version of Butts Wigglin is actually decent!

Unfortunately, with streaming audio, you can't dopwnload it, which I guess, from my perspective, is sort of the point of streaming audio . . .
Another three from the same show as yesterday.

Mav-
Thanks so much for the 1/31 SOTD. I never thought I'd ever hear that Clash cover ever again. What an amazing surprise! Thanks man!
(That was the night Gord busted his ass and was stunned for a few seconds. Shook it off and continued to kick ass. Like a true Canadian, the guy didn't even miss a shift.)
You rock...
