I just rank Blow hand in hand with NOIS, and we've seen NOIS is sinking three times allready. I dunno, i thought about good reasons why its not after i made that post too. Ah well, just my thought at the moment i posted.
Are we family sounded amazing today, nice little echo at the end

I would love for them to play this at the Gorge.

Really, don't think too hard about it. There is no reason why it hasn't been played yet. I have a bunch of them. I just keep changing my mind as to what song to play for the day, on the day

If I had your job, my brain would probably explode.
Nice song of the day,
I was 3rd row for that, Thanks MAv! Really Cool.
Here's a pic during that song
Mav, can you put the Kate and Gordie duet of Flamenco or Scared in your cue?
not saying anytime soon, just something to think about

always a treat to hear this one live, so much emotion & beautiful guitar lines

Today's song is up! Coconut Cream from '96.
Thanks MAv :thumb:
Coconut Cream is a great tune. I see a lot of people giving it a hard time around here and I don't get why. Some very original guitar work, steady bass with a classic Gord S groove at the end and great vocals.
Now that that is off my chest, did anyone else notice that this cut is played 1/2 step down from the record? Do the hip do this for other songs too? And if so, why? Is it that Gordie doesn't think he can get that high on the particular night?
Just curious.
In concernt I've noticed the lower tuning from time to time and wondered if I was just hearing things differently because of the large venue; now that I've heard these live recordings I know it's not my ear. I'm with you Muddy Memory, it's probably hard for Gord to reach/maintain some of those notes in the live setting, night after night.
Coconut Cream...I guess I couldn't love every SotD!!
Not one of my fav's but glad to see it made the list!
