wow MAv, Butts Wigglin...what a surprise...not one of the better hip songs in my opinion, but very cool choice nonetheless....so, any hints on when or if the vault might be opened for mass consumption (whole shows)???

Flash?
Nope, just installed the latest version of flash...no biggy.
I especially enjoy the stuff from the Phoenix show from December. They sounded great!
What a fabulous concept for the website, I applaud you MAv!

Hey Soquester, thanks. The cudos go to TTH imo though, for making it happen. I left up a couple of those Phoenix tunes near the end of the playlist.
I am trying to mix up the whole playlist once a week, and then the song of the day goes in the number one slot M-F.
As you can imagine, we're just geting started. . . but I wanted you to know that some of those Phoenix tunes were still there.
MAv.
Thanx Mav, a gig I was present and accounted for :thumb:
Well I suppose staying up late looking after a sick baby does have it's privaleges, as I seem to be catching the new daily song first
A demo of "The New Maybe"...interesting choice MAv...was hoping for an older studio demo, but beggars can't be choosers!
Honestly though, you're doing a great job with the site...I'm really enjoying the Song of the Day feature. A little peak into the "vault". It gives me hope that certain shows I've attended, but haven't found on bootleg, may see the light someday...[/fingers crossed]
Keep up the great work :thumb:
Thats a great version of The New Maybe :thumb: Great flow, translates even better in a Live/studio enviro

Oooh. I. I don't think I have words for this one. I fell in love with this tune the first time I heard it, and this is even more spine tingling. Lovely choice MAv. :thumb:

Yes, since I can't listen at work, my new routine when I get home is to turn on my computer, feed the damn cat (Little Bones, pssst psst psst....) and then hit the Hip site first thing to catch the song while i check emails.
I can't wait to see what the future holds.....
I find it interesting that this version of "The New Maybe" sounds (to me) more raw and less progressed, and without knowing the date, I would have easily of thought that it was before the final version that appears on "YF". Definetly interesting. Glad I've heard it :thumb: although I believe that the YF version is better, IMO.
This is a great version of a great song. I've been listening to it all day. Thanks MAv
Thanks again MAv for the demo of The New Maybe....after listening to it a few times, I've decided I like it much more than the version on YF...
And for the next offering, The Apartment Song - 1996-11-08 (Pacific Coliseum, Vancouver, BC)
Excellent version!
Wow, I'm lovin all these ABAC songs. I've always felt that The Apartment Song was underated as well as Butts Wigglin. Great to hear some excellent live versions of these songs this week. Thanks again MAv :thumb:
