I haven't heard that song live since the "Evening With" Tour in Hamilton, as soon as a I heard those opening riffs I almost fainted. Today's version sounds amazing.

alright MAv, ya gotta let us know.....any chance of these shows seeing the light of day anytime soon? Not to compare PJ and the Hip but they have now begun releasing old shows from "the vault"....metallica have done something similar (though shitty quality for the most part)...how 'bout The Hip Vault????

Are you upset by this? The songs that are being released for the Song of the Day are from the Hip's own soundboard recordings. The ftp site hosts fan recordings uploaded by fans...they are 2 separate entities.

Ah, I see. You'll be happy to know this isn't the case. I've just checked the ftp site, and the show for today's SotD, is available on thehundredthmeridian.

It is rumoured that the Hip record almost every show they play, which is what makes all this so exciting :thumb:

Yay, a song from my 2nd hip show. Beautiful, hot day in Barrie. Strange show though, almost 1/2 the songs from an album that hadn't been released yet. The state I was in I couldn't have cared less but I remember the crowd around me was highly irritated.
