If you're taking requests, I'd love to hear something from either the Trocadero in Philly (2004) or the 9:30 Club DC (2004). Fighter Fighter from DC or Heart of the Melt in Philly. If you can't do it, I understand dude. These are 2 shows in 2004 that weren't recorded; by fans that is and I know a bunch of peeps that went to these shows who might like to re-live a song or two!!!
I'm one of those peeps who was at the 9:30 Club show so I second that request! :thumb:
my too! :jump "thirded"

I thought the lack of crowd was a bit odd. Cheers for clearing that up. The performance is a little rough around the edges, bit it knida suits that song anyway.

Thanks for Ahead By A Century today MAv.
Just curious, you have the song listed as being from the Salmon Festival on the main page, but in the player, it's listed as live from St. Adele.

oops
Today's version of Fifty Mission Cap rocks. Thanks Maverick.
Though, it sucks when you hear songs from shows you were at and don't remember them being that good while you were there.
Hey MAv, today's SOTD is a GREAT version of Fire in the Hole but you really threw me by labelling it Butts Wigglin'. I hadn't seen that on a setlist in years - I was right.
Bummer.

Shite . . . ok, so it's supposed to be Butt's, I mislabeled after coming back from Port Hope last night. I was trying to get the SOTD in before midnight, so i wouldn't miss a day. I'll leave this one up and find butt's. Stay tuned.
Sorry for the fake out . . .ahh, I see the issue, the file came mislabeled. Doh.
That is the greatest version of Fire in the Hole I have ever heard. The pure energy of it all makes for an amazing sound...it's also surprisingly very good quality.
Thanks MAv for Locked. A killer version, and it seems from a fantastic concert. I was listening to the Live 10 Opiated which is from the same show, and if I could vote for a future livedownloads.com release, 1995-02-02 Metro Centre would be it. :thumb:

I agree. I love Locked Live...Gord just puts so many twists on it. I've rarely heard live versions of Locked that sound alike. He really makes it his own as often as he can. One of my favourites.
Sniff, brings back memories. This concert was delayed by a night because the boys were stuck on Newfoundland because of bad weather rendering the ferries out of service, stranding their gear.
I remmeber this because I worked at KFC at the time and had to beg hard to have the next night off. I think I worked the night anyway, and got to the concert just as the boys were on stage.
If you sat beside someone who stunk like KFC, it was me.

awesome version of locked!
can i make another small request - more DFN tracks; ive had bad luck coming on just after some of them. Specifically, Greasy Jungle, IOD and Thugs? Thank you
Love the version of Thugs today MAv!
Top five Hip song for me! Always a pleasure to hear it!
