Killer version of New 0! thank you sire.......
Am I the only one that is still getting "Fireworks" as the song of the day?
Nevermind, its working now. Weird
Hearing the soundboard makes me realize just how good the audience recordings of these two shows were. I think Alan Moore taped these, that right? Anyway, great version of New O.

Cheers,

Pat
Just about to head off to bed, and decided to check & see if the next tune it up....get ready for a great one...

Wheat Kings from the Jan 1, 2000 show at the ACC.

Killer version

Thanks MAv :thumb:
My first show Smile Section 309, Row 18, seat 10. Maybe it was Row 17 to be honest, whatever the last row of purples is before you hit the wall at the back of the building. Right around Centre Ice though.

You know, I have this on cd, and it sounds great there. But this, the echo from Gord's voice, the clarity of the guitars, and yet the audiable roar from the crowd -- it's a great way to wake up before another "riviting" day in retail.

This was also the first of many times in the future that I'd be able to sing the "improvised" outro: "the wind always acts like it knows so much, howling down this empty hall / the curtain swells and it's hard to tell, there's anyone here at all / if you lived here you'd be home by now / any how, any way."

Thanks for helping to bring back a great memory of a great night. The first of many more that have followed, and hopefully many more to come.

Cheers

Pat

Pretty much. I am trying to change it up etc. Thanks!

MAv.
Great version of Courage MAv! Thanks for sharing that one.... :thumb:
Yes, the Courage version today is amazing. Anyone else catch the snippet of Poets at the end? This show was a year before the release of PP if memory serves.
There's also a pretty accurate discription of "The Sweet Hereafter" during the interlude before the last verse. Courage, of course, was featured predominatly in that movie, as sung by Sarah Polly, for those unaware.

Cheers
