Was this in preparation for the Holiday Jam at the Phoenix last December? Wasn't that show acoustic?

Yes, that show was acoustic, but this seession wasn't related.
Courage Acoustic!!! In my humble opinion- best SOTD yet. A true gift to us all. Thanks.
Great version of Lake Fever today, this song is outstanding live. And the intro was very cool. "Push On through, you can't use us and we can't use you" I wish I had of went to the 23rd show so I could have seen this.

Yeah the 23rd was a great show, however, I would have prefered to go to the 24th. Also, thanks again MAv for another FY gem!
Fantastic version of Courage. I love the bits from the behind the scenes sessions. That Springtime video from the hotel room a while back was great too...it is so nice to hear a different spin on a song you hear the same way over and over. Thanks for sharing MAv

Happen to have any live Tiger the Lion for future SOTD??? Not that I am making requests or anything. I am waiting for the day to see that on there. I loved hearing that live during the Evening With Tour in 2000. Sad to say but I don't see them playing it live again Sad Then again, I didn't think I would hear 38 Years Old at Fort York!

Anyways, more bands should do something like this on their sites, nice addition and gives a reason to keep coming back!
speakin of the an evening with tour, that was the last time i heard lake fever live (prior to ch'town) nice one today even though it's fort york i can still picture charlottetown
Great version of Lake Fever. Kinda amusing when Gord mixes up the first sentence, but he pulls it off.
I love the intro of this version of LF. The acousticky sounds of LF today, and of Courage yesterday make me realize again why I love this band so much.

MAverick, you should see if the guys would be willing to put all of the SOTD songs into a c.d. compilation!
Drez7... I believe that Tiger The Lion was a SOTD once before. Im not sure on the exact date but it was a while back. That is also a song I would love to hear live, however, I would like to hear it without Kate Fenner (I think it was) singing along with Gord.
We can only hope the boys bust it out again... maybe Stratford? (wink wink)
groovy SOTD, scared. Included was an early tidbit of mean streak. one of the earliest from IBE i've heard.

Damn, I must have missed that one! I don't mind Kate's addition to a lot of the songs. I especially enjoyed her when they played Flamenco.
Locked, always a beauty...thanks again MAv...
Wow MAv, Thanks for "The Man Comes Around". I remember you posted a few other songs from that show before the Song Of The Day, but I've always wondered how the Hip's version of this song would sound like.

And it sounds great :thumb:
four for one SOTD. Thanks Mav!!
