IMissMyLungBob Wrote:WOW, another great gem put on the sotd. and that makes 2 greats from the FY shows in a row!! but i cant help but be curious as to these songs being put up when Chris asked about putting up just 38 Years Old from FY and the answer was no. why are these songs being allowed and 38 Years Old isnt?
Have a nice weekend :rambo:

YOU ROCK!
Jesus Christ do I hope Fort York goes on Livedownloads.
Mav, you sly dog, you... what a great treat this is! After hearing about this from everyone that was at the show, now all of us can experience this event. The song still gives me shivers...
Thanks Mav!!

This is why I love this band.
For something they havn't played in 13 years it sounds like they've been playing it every day.
Having missed this show (do to my sisters lowsy wedding :lol
It is awesome to finally be able to hear what so many lucky people heard that night.
Thanks Mav!
Enjoy everyone! It doesn't quite do it justice to being there but at least you now can all share in a little bit of the magic we experienced!
MAv you rock! :jump :jump :jump
I love how you don't hear a real eruption when the intro hits, which is how I remember it happening. Stunned silence, except for the occational "holy shit' from those who realize the song hadn't been played in as long as it had.
This looks like it's going to turn out to be a great weekend. New apartment, new vinyl, hotter than hell, and one of my good buddies is the "first of the gang to die" so to speak with his wedding tomorrow. Reliving this show is added to the list.
Cheers,
Pat
Robbie's licks are just incredible in this version! And it is so ominous to hear Gordie (and the crowd) singing "oooooooo-owwwww-wwwwww" (I wish I could actually write that better.... )

I second that request. :thumb:
MAv, this is AWESOME! What a moment that was, when we realized what song they were playing. Thanks for letting us relive it!
This is great, thanks MAV, you always seem to come through for us fans.
I remember hearing it live and being in stunned silence, and this is a great way to re-live those moments.
