I COME FROM DOWNTOWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

man Im pumped right now lol.
Can't wait, looks like ill be buying some tickets
A Fort York II would be cool
EVERYONE TRY TO STAY CALM WHEN THIS COMES OUT DON'T POST ANYTHING ON HERE LIKE PASSWORDS OR ANYTHING RELATED TO WHATS HAPPENING BECAUSE IT POTENTIALLY COULD SCREW ANYONE ONE OF US LOYAL FOLLOWERS OUT OF TICKETS.

LET ME CLARIFY MYSELF SCALPERS OR ANYONE LOOKING TO MAKE A BUCK NOT A FAN IS ALL I MEAN. THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE LOOK BACK.
The way they ran Danforth was sweet right before the WATS tour started. Only fan club and tickets had to picked up at the door. It was a great idea.
Did everyone get the email?

I recently re-registered and didn't get it. Sad

Ya, other than the fact that ticketmaster wouldn't accept Canadian addresses for credit cards and I got screwed out of fourth row tickets (and I know others had it even worse) it was awesome. No fault of the band of course, but still stings a little.
O man I forgot all about that dissaster! I was lucky that a friend got tickets and brought me, so I got the Ticketmaster Giftcard AND i got to go

Don't remind us. Did anyone on here actually NOT get to go? The gift card was a nice gesture, got me cheap(er) Wilco seats.
From the Hips Facebook Group - I guess were looking at some sort of website members only acces to a TO concert?:

Hey all, just thought a few of you who haven't registered at www.thehip.com - http://bit.ly/i2XewF - might want to do so soon! Things are happening and registering will give you access. ^MAv.

Hmmm, I didn't get the email either and I haven't re-registered. Weird.
I like how Pearl Jam does the ticket sales options for fans, you cant just join up at the last second and still get access to tickets the same as year long members or years long members. I hate that every time just before the tour a bunch of new people sign up to get tickets who are nowhere to be found on the fan sites or anywhere else any other time. They should go by seinority and give 2 tickets a person starting at the top of the list. Imagine that concept.

You'd alienate everyone but the hardcore fans. It would be incredibly uncool actually.
How about what the grateful dead family of bands do, and a mail order ticket lottery on a first come first serve basis, or what Phish does, and you throw your name into an online hat and you get tickets based on their lottery. One order per house per show

that seems more unfair than rewarding longtime fans for their loyalty. And Wesley's idea is only for the pre sale. All other fans can still get tickets for the shows, it just ensures that the hardcore fans get the best seats, which is what a pre sale is all about. I think this is a fantastic idea.
