The Hip's presale starts Wednesday at 10am I believe.
Above I was just mentioning that the venue is putting on a presale the day after.

I tuned into The Bear 100.3 this morning to try to win tickets to the Edmonton show. I want to go but just don't have $150 to shell out right now. They're giving away tix every morning at 7:10am. But I tuned in at 7:00 and by 7:10 they already had a dude on the line. They must've put the call out earlier. Bah. Oh well. Still another six weeks to try to win.

Plus, the dude was terrible. The game was - Is this a Hip song or the name of a horse? They gave him like eight or nine options and he got about four right.

I managed to get 3 tickets in Row 2, section Floor 3, for Winnipeg! So pumped!

The 3 seat choices are:

Reserved - Grandstand
Reserved - Floor
General Admission No Chair - Floor

In the Ticketmaster ticket window you can select from any of these 3 sections.

Dammit! I just got back from a trip overseas last week, so I can't afford to buy tickets at the moment, especially at those ridiculous prices. With these shows being big outdoor festivals, I'm not too worried about them selling out right away. I don't care about the VIP tickets (too expensive), so I'll probably just pick up some no-frills GA tix in a couple of weeks when I have some extra cash. I love the Hip, but I don't understand how they get away with charging that much when their popularity has dropped considerably in recent years. I suppose it's more because of the production costs of putting on an outdoor festival. That and inflation. But these days, unless it's Tom Waits, Springsteen, or U2, I can't justify paying $105 to see any artist. This makes me look forward even more to the next U.S. tour when I can see the Hip for $30 in a club or theater somewhere.

I got 2 tickets in Row 2. Seat 11 & 12. Which part of the stage does that put me? Also, where am I in relation to you?
