Listening to the album front-to-back, I still think they made the right choice for "In View" as the single.

Even though I think there are quite a few better tracks, "In View" has still made quite an impression with non-Hip fans as well as casual ones. (And hey, some of us vets still like it too)

And hell, it's burning up the radio right now, and it has gotten the band a lot of attention -- more than they've garnered in a very, very long time.

I completely agree with a poster earlier that said that "In View" makes a lot more sense when listening to WC as a whole.

And It's a good segway to "Lonely End of the Rink," no? (Next single?)

That's actually a very good point. I just wonder if any other songs would have made the same impact, I guess.

God this album is amazing. I think I can take on the world now...but I guess I don't have to, just have to get on its good side.
lovin this! gord sings so hard in fly i love it! everything darkest-one was and better! can't wait to hear the rest of songs!
World Container is the best closing song they've ever done.

"Last of the Unplucked Gems" still holds the title in my books...
Opiated will always be the best "last" song for me.
This is sick.
Thank you very much for posting this up for us MAv

I don't even know what to say, this is exciting me beyond words right now. I'll comment more once i've gotten to hear everything, but up to 'The Kids Don't Get It' it's very impressive! Good Job boys!

World Container is my early favourite song from this album. The bookends if you will, Ocean and World Container are spectacular, that is how to open and close an album. Pure Brilliance :thumb:
