LOVE IS TO TRY! AND DIE TRYING!!!!
my reviews are just going to be yelling the chorus...
Last Night I Dreamed You Didn't Love Me:
Urgent. That's the first word that comes to mind. More Paul. This tune sounds like it came out of a live jam somewhere. Can't place it. Speaking of which: how great would it be to have outtakes from this album, of the SOTD??? Gord acoustic sounds good. Listening to the lyrics, turns out to be an aching love song...

The Drop Off: YESYESYES!!! The one I've been waiting for! Wanted to see this live in Charlottetown, but it didn't pan out. Live, it is sizzling, but on the album?? WHOOOOAAAA!!!! This is my favorite, with two songs to go. All of the band's energy is poured into this tune, and you feel it to the core.

Well, I can finally talk about the album. I can't say enough about it. I love it. I've been listening to it for weeks, so it has time to set in with me. Anyway, I love it!!
just wanted to say that. . . finally!

I could never have been trusted not to leak something like this.
I have never been so immediately impressed with a Hip Album like this since PP.
Not to kill all the positivity that's gripped the board (and with good reason, that album for the most part is amazing), but I really don't like the direction they went with "Pretend".
Although it is hard to stack up against the version I heard live and acoustic at Gord's solo show a few weeks back. I guess its the keyboard and the layered and delayed vocals at the end.

I may be in the minority, but I'm not too high on "The Kids Don't Get It.'
Anyone think the sound on this album is like Fully Completely?
Family band: Gord's lyrical humour shines through. "Even nuthin', even nuthin', with you!" Great to hear all of the live jam stuff come in to play...

I didn't leave it in my car, I labeled it a different name on my computer and my Ipod and was going to make sure any leak didn't come form me

I'm a huge fan of "Family Band"
half way through and i'm loving it which is rare for me. Takes me a while to get into an album. can't wait to pick this up tes.
MAV-- will those of us in the US be able to pick it up in the here with the rumors of a 2007 release for the States going around?
This is going to ruin my productivity at work today.
BUT I COULD CARE LESS!!!
sounds amazing so far
I love the lyric share between the kids and pretend.....
it's like let your fingers start to wiggle
