I dont get my Chiefs this year, they're like Jekyll and Hyde, one week they kick ass than the next week they blow chunks. Nice to beat the Pats though, hopefully they can put a good run together and get in the playoffs, Denver is a lock for the division it would seem at this point.

And my poor Packers, oh how the mighty have fallen.. Cry

You're still my hero Brett!!

keep your fingers crossed for reggie bush
Anybody think the Steelers will break the Colt's streak tonight? I hope its a good game and not another Colts stampede.

not looking too good so far.. 10-0 after 6 mins... but i still have faith in my steelers.. look for TE Heath Miller to make some plays

Guess it wasn't meant to be.. Colts win 26-7, at least you held them to under 30! I dont see how anyone can stop this team, if they dont win the Super Bowl I'll be shocked. Sad thing about that is every year I hope for a great Super Bowl and I almost always get let down, I hope this year it wont be a 52-14 crushing by the Colts, Im not going to sit for 5-6 hours for that crap.

dude..don't get too excited..it was against my "might" niners

First, I'm a Dudette, not a Dude (ha ha)

Second, It was a great game for many reasons. They played well. They played like a "team" again. McNabb and TO got along - hand slaps after goals, etc. I especially like the extra point kicked by the linebacker, Mark Simoneau.

Looks like all the hubabaloo from the pre-season is in the past and they are moving on.

Go Birds!

Cry It seems like only yesterday we were filled with such hope. *sigh* I found out last night that my father sold his season tickets. For good. Now that's heartbreak.

Even more unsettling....my boyfriend is a Cowboys fan and is trying to get me to jump ship. Not now. Not ever.

But speaking of...who do you all like for the NFC East? Dallas or NY? The thought of either makes my skin crawl...but what can ya do?

Well, this Sunday's matchup will give one of those two an edge, though Dallas still has to go to Carolina (both teams have KC on their remaining schedules). I'm hoping Dallas leaves the Meadowlands with a W over the NY Football Giants, but that's a tall order.

I actually grew up a Cowboys fan in rural Ohio (used to be a big Tony Dorsett fan when I was a lad). Now that I live in an NFL city, I pull hard for the home team (Go Bengals!), but I'll always have a soft spot for the Big D!

You better marry him before some other wise woman does.

Who wants to help me win $15,000? I'm in a Suicide Pool that started out with 1600+ entries and is now down to the final 91 (including me). But I'm pretty much out of gimmes. These are the teams I have left to choose from heading into this weekend:

New Orleans (at "home" against TB)
Buffalo at Miami (both still available to me)
Pittsburgh (at Cincy)
GB (at Chi)
Hou at Bal (both still available to me)
Car (at home against Atl)
Min at Det (both still available to me)
Tenn (at Indy - yeah right)
Jax at Cle (both still available to me)
Ari at SF (both still available to me)
StL (at home to Wash)
KC (at home to Den)
NYJ (at NE - yeah right!)
Oak (at SD)
Philly (at home to Sea)

Yeah, not one of those makes me confident. If I had to pick right now I'd prolly take Miami.

Any suggestions?

Help me talk him into it and it's a done deal.

I'd take Baltimore over Houston in a heartbeat! However, that's just one chick's opinion.

Agreed or Minnie over detroit.
I'd take Minnesota over Detroit; Jauron sucks as a coach (see record as Bears head coach) and their team is in shambles. BTW, how does a suicide pool work?
1. I would take Pitt over Cincy.
The only decent team Cincy beat all year was the bears in week 3.
Their other wins came against patsies: Combined win loss record of 19-47. Browns, Minn, Houston, Tenn, GB, Baltimore.
2. Or Ari over SF.
SF is starting their two game rookie for the rest of the year.
It seems no one can stop Arizona's two receivers Boldin and Fitzgerald. And SF is last in the league in pass defense.
id take
bal
jax
or car

in that order
