Well I watched most of the Lions and Vikings game, hoo boy what a mess that was. Tons of turnovers, penalties, other mistakes... not good.
That said... LIONS WIN!! LIONS ARE 2-0!!! :jump
Man I can't remember the last time I could say that... feels good to say too! I know my Lions are far away from being a really good team but if they can show some actual genuine improvement I'll be happy.

Can someone answer as to why the Eagles got rid of Garcia and kept McNabb? :nooooo

Can't answer that one for ya.
It's nice to see Mcnabb playing the race card.

Yeah, Mcnabb is right. Peyton Manning NEVER GOT CRITICISM! He never, ever, ever got blamed for the Colts failures in the playoffs. He always got a free pass. :? :?

Garcia----101---86.9-----1840---3016---61.0---20829---206.2---6.9---138---73
McNabb--106---84.8-----1941---3338---58.1---22504---212.3---6.7---153---73
Given that those are very comparable career statistics, perhaps they thought they'd rather go with the younger QB who has more experience actually taking his team to League Championships.
McNabb is 30 years old and has led the Eagles to 4 NFC Championship games.
Garcia is 37 years old as has led nobody to any championships.
McNabb took Philly to four consecutive NFC Championships (2002-2005), and to Super Bowl XXXIX.
And you already are wishing he were gone?
Nice.
cratch: This is why Philly fans have a horrible reputation.

Mcnabb was always a tad overrated. Now, he's done. Injuries have done him in. He knows he's done. That's why he's pulling out the race card.

I would tend to agree; however, he was instrumental in the Eagles' 4 NFC title game appearances and helped them to the Super Bowl just two seasons ago. And Philly fans are already about to show him the door.
Craziness.

That's a great quote by Schmidt.
Fans can do what they want, but, yeah, Philly fans are a little irrational at times. They drove Sir Charles out of the city and he was one of the greatest power forwards in the history of the game.

As a die hard Buffalo Bills fan, it is going to be one very rough Sunday.

It most likely will get ugly fast. I'll probably watch anyway.
