That was NOT a touchdown - No way! His knee down and in front of the goal line - it couldnt be more obvious. The NFL officiating has a lot to be desired this season.

Absolutely right, KKF. At least it didn't cost your team the game! Marcus Pollard's knee was NOT out of bounds!! The Lions wuz robbed!!! :rambo: :rambo:
Ricky Williams returns tommorow, lets see if he exceeds everyones expectations.
YEAAAH!!

CHIEFS-28

REDSKINS-21

Were back in business baby!! Nice to see the Pats get killed again, but I actually wanted them to win that game, I needed Denver to lose.
Just want to chime in and say how cool it is that the Bills are tied with NE for the lead in the AFC East 8)
Woo Hoo!! My Chiefs are stomping the Dolphins into the ground!! Good way to start the weekend. :thumb: I hope the Packers cream Minnesota too, they need to turn things around there. I got a soft spot for the Pack. kinda my other favorite team.
HUGE game for the Bengals and their fans today in Cincy.

The Steelers are in town, and suddenly, a game that has managed to remain a rivalry through some very lean years here in southern Ohio has real meaning for the throngs of orange an black-clad football fans.

A win here means that the Bengals will most likely be in the playoffs for the first time in a decade and a half (barring a meltdown of epic proportions).

Football has always been huge in this state, from high school to college to the pros, but suddenly this city is busting at the seams. I moved here in 1991, and given that they have yet to make the postseason in all the years since, I haven't witnessed this type of electricity surrounding the Bengals before. It's something the great soprts fans of this city deserve, quite frankly.

It's going to be a close game, methinks. But I gotta think the Bengals eke out a W here in PBS. I'll say:

BENGALS 31
STEELERS 27
So you are gonna do the "win and they are probably in the playoffs" thing in week 7? Id probably wait until the season was at least half over.
Care to make a wager? Bengals win today, they make the playoffs. Hell, I said before the season started that the Bangals would be AFC champions (but I'm not dumb enough to wager on THAT).

Anyway, it's not much of a gamble. A win today puts us a 6-1. How many teams start 6-1 and don't make the playoffs?

How many teams havent made the playoffs in like a decade and a half...im not going to bet you because I want the bengals to make the playoffs...i like watching them play.
What does Bengals history have to do with their 2005 record?

Come on, man...dont be that guy. Just admit that teams who start 6-1 are virtual playoff shoo-ins

Correct me if i am wrong but didnt the vikings start like 7-0 and miss the playoffs a few years ago.
I bring up the bengals history because if there is any team that could blow it , it is the bungles.
