Great news here in Buffalo.

On a similar topic... nothing against Marv Levy, but how do you Buffalo fans feel about having an 80-year old general manager?
Having a 100 year old GM is better than the one we just fired!

Should be an interesting year, I know Marv is 80 but you could never tell. This Harvard grad is still sharp and will make sure that the team heads in the right direction.

No more WR's/TE's in the first round!! If they screw up this 8th pick I am gonna be pissed!!

GO BILLS!

Marv is a great guy - and motivator.
But, I would much rather have someone else running the Bills.
Granted he has assistant GM Tom Modrak who helped build the Eagles, and I like their team, except for the pass happy offense.
There are hundreds of more qualified people for Marv's position. If Tom Modrak is doing everything - then great - have Marv as the figure head.

Yeah, is Marv really going to be able to go out and do extensive scouting like the great GM's do? I don't know how effective Marv is going to be. It was more of a public relations move than anything IMO. Having Marv back gets Bills fans hopes up and keeps fans interested at least. Of course, having Marv as GM DOES NOT change the fact that the Bills have no offensive line, are probably going to lose their #1 receiver in the offseason, don't have any consistent pass rush, can't stop the run, might lose their #1 cover man in the offseason, have an unproven QB, a malcontent and inconsistent RB, and their best LB is coming of major surgery on his achilles and may never return to form. How does Marv address all these needs?????

Having said that, a bag of footballs would be more useful to serve as GM than Tom Donahoe.
Ok so I was wrong about New England..but thats ok, Im happy! Were going to have a new SB champ this year, Im excited. Its too bad Denver has to play the Colts in the AFC championship (assuming Indy beats Pitts.), that would make a great Super Bowl itself. Brady just couldnt get it done, it seemed like things didnt go NE's way for a change, you could see the frustration, it was sweet. When you have that many turnovers your bound to lose everytime, way to go Denver.

Seahawks beat the skins in the other game, no surprise really, Washingtons offence has been lame in the playoffs. I guess the big news is Alexander, will he recover from that concussion in time to play the next game? At this point to me its looking like a Colts-Panthers Super Bowl, but I'd rather see the Da Bears vs. Seattle or Pittsburgh. But if Denver-has to play Indy that game will be a battle royale, two very good teams, but I just see Peyton coming out on top of Plummer, I dont think Peyton will choke this time. But you have to think special teams and defence might play a big role in the outcome.
I was soooo happy last night. That 100 YD interception was the nail in the coffin for the Patriots. The Seattle and Washington game was simply boring.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
PAAAAAAAAAAAAANTERRSSS!!!!!
Yeah, I thought NE would win because I didn't anticipate Brady playing so poorly. Oh well, he's finally lost in the postseason. I don't hate the Pats so much, but I'm glad they lost because of the local news guys. Bob Lobel and the rest of the CBS guys after the game were blaming the refs. One guy actually said that call on Bailey's return was wrong and asked how the refs could have blown it. The call looked good to me. There was no conclusive evidence that the ball went out inside the pylon. Typical New England fans, particularly Boston fans. It's always something with them. I guess they could never grasp the fact that maybe the Pats lost because the other team played better or because the Pats fumbled the ball about ten times.

Anyway, Indy is having its hands full with Pittsburgh. Peyton better win this game if he wants to get out of Indianapolis alive.

Alexander will be ready for next week. The Skins are a mediocore team with a 100 year old QB. Seattle hasn't proven anything yet.

He better get a bodyguard then, its 21-3 Steelers at the end of the 3rd quarter. I knew the Steelers would be tough to beat, but I didn't see this happening, but I love it..I hate the Colts!!

What the hell, its 4th down and Dungy sends the punt team onto the field then Manning tells them to go back and goes for it, who's running that team? Incidentally they converted the down, how's that for showing up your coach.

Yeah, that was strange. Anyway, Polamalu just got an INT so the game is pretty much over now. Does anybody know the heimlich manoeuvre?

WHOA!!! What a horrible call by the refs. Indy is still alive but on life support.

edit: WOW!!! What a series of events. Pittsburgh gave Indy every chance in the world to win. Vanderjagt choked worse than Manning. That kick must have been 15 yards wide. That was atrocious.
great game..going in i didn't care who won, but after that blown bullshit call by the refs on the INT, i was rooting for PITTS!!
Dammit, every year Indy blows it in the playoffs. The were clinging on by a thread, and then the fumble. Vanderjagt :x :x :x
Ahh well... lets get some good support on the offensive line in the off season I guess. Time for a new avatar.
NICE! :rock
BRRRINGG ON SEATTLE!!!
Time for more pick, this is it, lets take it right to the end...

Carolina vs. Seattle
Pittsburgh vs. Denver

Super Bowl Prediction:

Carolina vs. Denver

I dont really care who wins the Super Bowl at this point as long as its an entertaining and close fought game, but Id would prefer it if Denver didnt win, I hate those dinks. Pittsburgh or Carolina would be cool.
