But, on a good news front, I went with Baltimore in the Suicide Pool - ummm, that was close!

Thinking Tennessee (at home to Houston) or Pittsburgh (at home to Chicago) next weekend.......

Pitt for sure... Chicago's dynamite D has been showing a weakness for the run lately. Pitt has a high flying offense that is sure to score some points, and I dont think the Bears can keep up and answer to it.

I'd take Tennessee over a dismal 1-win Houston team long before i took a Pittsburgh team who has lost 3 in a row with a nicked-up Roethlisberger versus the hands-down best defense in the NFL.

But that's just me, of course....

The Steelers fumbled FOUR times Sunday (Bengals only recovered one) and Ben threw 3 INTs versus a Bengals D that really is nothing special (except for knowing hopw to capitalize on turnovers).

Steelers are not playing good football right now.....

Well, rather than take my first choice (PIT) or my second choice (TEN) or my third choice (MIN) I went with my fourth choice (GB). PHEW! That was way WAY too close for comfort.

A bunch of people got knocked out by taking SD today. So there are 71 people left. $15K on the line. And I can use JAX next week against SF.

Well, as a Lions fan, I can tell you it was a thoroughly depressing loss, one that has been sadly indicative of a thoroughly depressing season. It's looking like only a miracle can turn this franchise around. Even worse, we're somehow not bad enough to be last in the league and thus winning the Reggie Bush sweepstakes. Oh well, in some ways that might not be all bad, because while Bush is an exceptional talent, one of the things Detroit desperately need more than that is a quarterback. Matt Leinart, we need you, you're our only hope! Sad
Speaking of the Lions, I wasn't really watching the late game last night, I just surfed around. How come the Lions safety they scored was reversed? The intentional grounding made sense to me, so what was the deal with that?

...and then theres the Dolphins :jump
...and then theres the Bears Sad

Im just having a shit run of luck lately in sports, how the hell can you blow a 30 yard field goal in a stadium with no wind?? They say the snap was off but I still think he should of nailed it, he had the distance he booted it right, stupid Tynes!! :x But on the flip side, Brett my hero won and broke pukey Dan Marino's record for 3,000+ yard passing seasons with 14 in the process, way to go Packers!!! :thumb:
Actually I was kind of hoping that Green Bay would lose, but it looks like Houston is going to win the Reggie Bush sweepstakes and it doesn't make any sense to draft Leinart with Favre and Rogers. Any idea on good college O-lineman or defensive ends? That's where we need the help, pronto!

Easily, the coach tell you not to make it, because Capers is thinking to himself "Bring on the Bush!"

Ouch..man that hurts...I will give Farvrrrre all his props, but why'd ya have to go and dis the greatest QB ever to play the game? Sad

you just lost your lap dance from me...

That was a big win for the phish. Granted their chances of making the playoffs are about as good as a snowstorm in Miami, or the hip playing this nye...BUT- I still say the phins are a team on the rise...Matt Lineart please pick up your bording pass at gate 12...

You won't be getting Leinart either... houston will get reggie b... leinhart will go to san fran... green bay will probably pick up vince young and trade him

That's okay, just make sure your boys avenge it by whuppin NY (i have a soft spot for Dallas in the NFC) and crushing SD the week after. Then maybe the Chargers will get pissed and whoop Denver, giving dem Bengals home field advantage in the playoffs!!!:thumb:

Cmon, man. Hatin' on the greats who are still active (your team's opponent) is one thing. Hatin' on the....3rd greatest?...QB of all time long after retirement is a little sour, dontcha think?
Wow, I upset all the Marino fans pretty good. Is that all it takes to rile you guys up? Tongue

Okay, I take it back..he was great, the numbers don't lie..

He's had an awesome career no doubt about it http://www.danmarino.com/careerstats.htm

San Fran just drafted a QB #1 this year - Utah's Alex Smith.

As Tthip alluded to : Why would San Fran pick QB's in consecutive years in the first round? What, did they give up on Smith or did I miss something?

If Green Bay don't need anyone at that spot, they'll just trade down a few spots and still get the guy they want and additional draft picks.

Plus GB picked a QB with their #1 pick last year too... Aaron Rodgers.

Come on, I have to have something to look forward to... since this year was yet another disaster.
How many TD's does smith have?...ZERO! How many picks?....9!
i haven't posted in a while, so i have to give mad props to my Phins for taking care of business against Buffalo and SD, LOOKOUT PATRIOTS! :rambo:

ps: i hope C-diddy is looking forward to his month off Wink.
