Alot of that is on the tracker, but not all.
What are you wanting to hear?
So I sent this guy this message
"Dear lunaman06,
are the cds CDRs did you make them yourself? If so what quality did you burn them at? Do the CDs have design on them or just blank?
- scloveswc"
This is the answer he gave me.
Dear scloveswc,
Hi - these are store bought but do appear to be CD rs - excellent quality!
- lunaman06
I dont believe him, I dont think these are store bought at all.
What does everybody else think.

I think there is a logo type graphic on the back of the jewel case "Dog Bay Records", which does exist but seems unrelated to this CD. If you look at his other unreleased CDs like Vol 1, Tom Waits and Liz Phair they all have a common looking homemade bootleg design.

so here we go...was wondering how long it would take for another copy of LBU to be posted!

I have history with the seller Lunaman06. Last April I purchased The Doves - Some Cities for $42 (a steal, I've seen it sell for twice the price) and it never arrived in the mail. I was patient with him during the delay and unfortunately missed my window to leave negative feedback or apply for a refund. He hasnt responded to my messages, including a strongly worded one about his scummy decision to sell multiple copies of burnt hip CDs.
I also reported all of the auctions but it doesnt appear they were taken down in time.
Was that LBU that sold for $201 a buy it now? I ask because it usually shows the # of bids, but that auction did not.
someone must had made an offer... it was 265 buy it now i believe.

So here's where I go off again...
I am always at a loss, when I see people spending big money on Hip vinyl in this bad a condition (VG with crackle, even after a cleaning!). There is already one bid at $135 and I suspect this one will go for $200+. Who is spending this kind of money on this garbage? I wonder what it must be like to spend $200+ on the vinyl, then have to play the $7 CD, when you want to enjoy the album  Here is Goldmine grading for VG...
VG: The Very Good Grade does not mean Very good at all. At least not in the visual sense. A Very Good (VG) record will appear well played but still have some luster. The vinyl may be faded, slightly grayish, yet appears to have been handled as carefully as it could have been helped. Records that get continuous playing time will start to deteriorate. More and more surface scuffs and scratches, and audible sound defects WILL be heard.
wow, permanent crackles in the background, I wonder how bad it could be.
9days is long enough for another payday to roll around.
I think direwolf is playing mind games and doesnt want us bidding.....
tonyd Wrote:thanks for the tip!
Thanks. I'm not trying to be a dick. Hip vinyl is fun to collect and there is a difference in sonics (at least with S/T, UTH, RA, FC and LBU, which were all recorded in analog) if you have a decent system, but there isn't THAT much of a difference compared to the CD. The Fully Completely vinyl is really nice if you find a clean NM copy...CD-like quiet vinyl and has that analog warmth. Spending a ton of dough on a snap, crackle and pop copy, defeats the whole purpose IMO...buy the CD and save yourself some cash :thumb:

Nope. I sold a NM copy here recenty for $165 AND posted the link here for the last nice FC that was listed on ebay for a great price, which was snapped up by forum member markslog, in short order, due to my post. Just here to add my 2 cents...
I think mandatory Youtube video links of record playing should be provided for anything claiming to be ex-nm that goes over $200.And likewise,if the buyer claims that the record is not ex-nm or something is wrong with it after a sealed record has been opened.I have given refunds for sealed records where the buyer made a claim.it feels like you have been raped in the ass when you know damn well it was fine and was pkgd properly.
