Well, that sucked. After grabbing the lead in the first period, the Flames sat back, stopped skating, and allowed the Sharks to wake up. I still think they can win this series, but their PP will have to be much better and they're gonna have to get more traffic in front of Nabby. It's a best of 3 now. Thursday can't come fast enough.
GO FLAMES!

Crazy how a team can look so strong one game then the next game look like they are old and tired(Flames). :?
I hope they get passed the Sharks.

That was an entertaining game tonight between the Rangers & Devils. I was getting pretty nervous in the 3rd period, but Marc Staal came through with the huge goal with 3 minutes to go. I've been very impressed with the Ranger rookies so far in this post season, all 5 are making big contributions...Brandon Dubinsky, Nigel Dawes, Ryan Callahan, Marc Staal and Dan Girardi.

Staal is the real deal, he was nothing short of incredible for our wolves last year all playoffs long, and he was dynomite in the world juniours last year...one of my favourite players...he plays the game the right way, and it was nice to see him get the winner tonight, after the last game's winner went in off of his foor tfor Jersey...it's crazy to think he used to sit across from me in World Religions class haha, and no one even really knew who he was, other than just "one of the wolves".

Nashville is putting up a good fight in their series. If only they could figure out how to win a road playoff game. I'd be worried if I was a Red Wing fan... you have this much trouble with the Preds, what happens when you meet one of the big-time powers in the West the next round?
As for the Sens... good riddance to bad rubbish. Bryan Murray has one hell of a cleanup job on his hands if he hopes to get the team back to the Stanley Cup Finals again anytime soon.

I don't think I have ever seen a team be so inconsistent while being so inconsistent. If it wasn't the goal-tending, it was the defense; and while that suffered most of the year, the offense went MIA. Nothing gelled in the last four months. How a team can win by six goals one night, and lose a 2-0 affair the next is quite baffling.
A lot of disappointing spring season's in this city, but this one takes the cake. The only positive media spin on this complete collapse is the Captain's heroics; playing on a torn MCL, and it was quite evident. While many trash the guy, he is a character player.
It's hard to say "Good Riddance" to Wade Redden. He has been an integral part of this team in 9 of his 11 semi-successful seasons, but it is time for him to go. Emery will be bought out. To borrow a line, "There is always next year"...
Go Habs...

So I guess Kipper has a fan...is this just during the playoffs or is this a regular thing. I can't imagine someone doing that every game.

This is Girardi's first full season the NHL, prior to this year he had only played 34 career games.
Staal has been getting better all season, and it shows in his ice time. The first half of the season he was only averaging 15 or 16 minutes a game...he led the Rangers in icetime in Game 3, and last night only Michael Rozsival played more than Staal.
