I definitely dont hate Crosby the guy is an amazing hockey player..who wouldnt want him?? But I do belive he is the product of over-exposure and its putting people off, the kid is great we get it already! Plus I hate Bettman and what he's doing to hockey, please go away.

I totally agree with the sentiments regarding Bettman. Look where he came from NBA right?
That is a totally jacked-up league due to decisions Bettman made, he has jerked around the NHL for too many years, lock out etc.

That is pretty awesome. Finishing with Gretzky was pretty cool, but I think it would have looked just as awesome with Bourque. He had a classic Cup lift.

I have a little rant thing goin here...

I HATE PITTSBURGH.

Before this year, I was all excited to see them make their playoff run, even when they beat down Ottawa this year, I was still cheering for them. But all that would change when they played the Rangers.

I thought the Rangers got cheated, missed penalites and bad luck. But what blew it for me was the way in which Pittsburgh handled their first loss of the 2008 playoffs. They showed a second face....one that does not handle losing well. It showed me they thought they were entitled to a cup. It absolutely STEAMED ME to see Malkin run around slew-footing guys and pulling guys ankles' out from underneath them.

When Pittsburgh faced Philly I thought, maybe Philly can play their rough and tough style and squeak a couple games out. But they didn't decide to play that way until game 3. Which, again, Pittsburgh's ugly we're-entitled-dont-you-dare-beat-us face reared up again. With more Ill-just-elbow-you-in-the-face-while-you-skate-to-the-bench dumbassery from Malkin.

Because I'm a big hockey fan, all kinds of people talk to me about hockey. And they all say "wow arent the penguins great?!?!" Or "oh wow Crosby is sooo goood! Theyre going to win the cup for sure!" I find it amusing how the NHL has sold this idea of this supposedly godly hockey player to people who don't even watch the NHL, to the point where, they think he's amazing and nothing can sway their opinion, even though they probably never watched him play a whole hockey game. They all cheer for Pittsburgh, but they neglect to even watch them play. They toss Malkin's cheapshoting cowardess aside like, oh, it doesn't matter, because it's PITTSBURGH and theyre soooooo gooooooood!

I'd rather watch a team with grit, a team with a real burning desire to win, a team that is willing to sacrifice everything, put in the extra effort, work hard and not give up, a team WITH CLASS....that's the kind of team that I want to see win. When I think of the '04 Flames or the Oilers a couple years ago, that's what I am reminded of.

But all I see here are a bunch of whiny kids who think they're entitled, and the cheapest superstar in the game today.

Where do I start? You could not be more wrong, IMO, about the Penguins.

And it always ends with some personal shot at someone. Crobsy's facial hair? Get the hell over it. He is 20 years old!! He does not look like some old perv with a face full of fur like some of the Wings look (see how ridiculous it is to pick at petty crap like facial hair?)

Crosby is a superstar like it or not, very gifted and talented. Malkin is also very very talented and gifted, heck the entire team is young and gifted. BTW, What were you like at age 20?? :roll:

Quit whining and if you are a true hockey fan, you would wish that Crosby was on your team.

Haha...before my time. I was only being born at the beginning of the Oiler dynasty. I only know about that from people from my dad's generation
