How about adding this to your "bridge" collection then....Angst on the planks, spittin' from a bridge....The above quote is from an old post, but, this was such a cool thread that I started re-reading the whole thing over again and came across it from page one, and since direwolf74 had a theme going, I just thought I'd add to it...And besides, Cordelia is one of the first Hip tunes that I fell in love with, it was acutally the swinging watch that mesmerized me into Hipdom. I've been in a trance ever since.

Josephine - Right as Gord says "I remember you there in the last rays..." and you can hear the song start to pick up. At the same time Johnny starts to pound on the drums, and the song takes of from there....gives me chills.

Dark Canuck - (As mentioned before) "In the clouds of blood at the end of JAWS...." this plus the transition part.

Throwing off Glass - This whole song is great. I find this to be the right song when I'm in a relaxed and reflective mood.

Little Bones, Three Pistols - The intros to these songs make the hair on my neck stand up.

Don't Wake Daddy (LBU Version) - I love the guitar work in this song. The Henhouse version I can't stand. But in LBU, one of the best lines is "You can lay their heads on their futon beads, so many miles from home. You teach your children some fashion sense, but they fashion some of their own."

my favourite part about hearing ABAC live is hearing the crowd go crazy right after "tonight we smoke them out"

at the toronto show there was this guy standing in front of me who was holding up an "I LOVE YOU GORDIE!" sign throughout the whole show and when ABAC came on he turned it around and on the other side it said "TONIGHT WE SMOKE THEM OUT" he went crazy when gord sung that

Man, re-watching the sympatico Mod-club show, I realize how fucking rad Johnny played Grace on the drums...seems like he really kicked it up a notch for Grace on that particular show, Ive never seen him play that song so well...that opening fill, a few seconds in, where normally its just the straight beat....WOW! That alone gives me goosebumps....Ive never heard him do that before? He should do that all the time.
