Twist My Arm, before the solo:
"... motel moans and big fat Jones... WOO!". The second woo is absolutely perfectly placed... so much emotion 'n Bobby kicks up his solo a notch to get me freakin jazzed!
and about 1000 different moments in Nautical Disaster... but that doesn't make me very original.

Do the sirens in As I Wind Down The Pines make anyone else shudder (in a good way), or is it just me? A great moment in a great song! :thumb:
Vapour Trails 'grabbed' me quite bad the other day while on the train. I've never really noticed the eery eachoing 'throooow away' right at the end of the song before, but on my headphones it's really noticeable (comes out loud on the right phone), so I was kind of drifting off to sleep during a boring journey, sat next to a stranger, and those vocals came on. I just about jumped out of my seat thinking the woman next to me was whispering/singing those lines right in my ear.

the.... ha ha ho and ho ho ho – from the Luxury
"Carried under and carried away" from Membership. The vocals, oh my God they just fit so well together.
"Defanged destoyer limps into the bay" from Scared. Who hasn't felt like that?
"I swear to God she said... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" from NOIS
The little monologue/rant thing from ATHM
Last Of The Unplucked Gems. That qualifies as a moment to me, like a last little verse for the album.
The third verse of Goodnight Josephine
The opening of Escape Is At Hand
"I saw the constellations reveal themselves one star at a time" from Bobcaygeon.
The massive, MASSIVE guitar intro riff from The Wherewithal. Such an underrated song.
Sorry if a bunch of these have been posted. It's a big thread and my Biology lecture is not long enough for me to read them all.
"And inside there's and army waiting for their marching orders from you"
Always loved that line. Basically says to me that everyone could go crazy at any time..........LOL
Never paid too much attention to the song, but was listening to the Men With Brooms soundtrack the other day.
The line in "Oh Honey", "You don't have to take on the world, just get on its good side"
What a fantastic line that is
The opening riff from Looking for A PLAce to Happen...
I think I might have even posted this before... double down for truth
Great opening set song...
with it's la la oh oh ohs
whoa-ohs and yeahs
la las,
whoa-ohs and
yeahs.

I
still do that for Rob's solo in DW. It's frickin awesome.
When that record came out, I sat down with the guitar and practiced that solo over and over and over, and never could manage to get it right. It was depressing to discover that my ability is limited to the point where I simply cannot reproduce such a precise lead.
However, I feel better about my inadequacy everytime I hear it live, because Bobby never seems to play it exacly like he did in the studio. It's usually very similar, but either he ends up muting some of those notes, or he abbreviates the phrase to avoid accidentally muting certain strings.
those melodies come back to me...

I was trying to do my taxes this weekend and I put in IVL. I hit the repeat on Dire Wolf about 5 times before I had to turn it off or my taxes would never have gotten done.
All in all, I'd say that I made the wrong choice.
I know this has been mentioned before....
don't sound so detached this is you and me just give me your opinion before you turn to leave
I've always really dug the harmonies on the chorus of Chagrin Falls.
He insisted that it isn't
Just the way gord sings the entire song is unlike anything else ive ever heard from him or the band.
