2 that stick out right now are "That night in Toronto", and in Scared, "When the Nazi's find the whole place dark, think God's left the museum for good", and "as kids wade through blood out to it to play"....Scared as a whole is good as it is but I love picturing those parts.

I really love the second before the chorus in Springtime in Vienna... The little tiny bit of instrumental stuff between "Past whispers in the closet" and "Past screaming from the rooftops"
There's just this buildup and then explosion that's fantastic. It's better live, especially now when Gord screams "C'MON!" in that little bit, but also because the song goes from quiet to loud and the change is more pronounced live. It'd be a part where there was a massive pyrotechnical display if the Hip had pyros...

I love the opening bass line for YOS too. It was the first bass line I ever learned. However I also love the slide part on it too......wweeewowo

Oh, I agree. I love Springtime, start to finish.
I love Rob's solo in Dire Wolf too. When I got IVL, I kept hitting repeat on that song.

World container has the most & best placed 'whoos' & 'yeah's' than any album previous......they could put out an album that gordie just sings 'woooh' & 'yeah' over some music & it would be good....

Don't forget the "that's right"s ... my favourite on WC is the "that's right" in Pretend that's woven directly into the fabric of the song, rather than being an interjection ...
"but pretend can pretend to end that's right ..."
He also does it almost the same way on Fly:
