"for ten grand ill go play in a fuckin chimp suit"

& the bit about him charging into a pyramid of cheerleaders during high school (while being half drunk)
I've been lurking for a while. I just got my copy of the boxed set yesterday. I'll just say, it's fucking amazing. Worth every penny.

Thank you, but I like to read more than type. I might chime in from time to time.
Cool looking poster - first print add I have actually seen for the set.

Maybe you've got an oddity?!?!

Does anyone have a copy of the Hipeponymous box set where the inside 48 page booklet is printed upside-down? Mine is. Do you think oddity?
I finally got the set at Christmas.

WOW.

The remixed songs from FC sound absolutely phenomenal, I want the rest of the album done like that.

And the DVD sounds great too. I have yet to check out the bonus disc, but the first 3 discs sound AMAZING!

Well worth the wait.

It's been killing me seeing everyone say how good everything was, and me being in Spain, where I wouldn't be able to get it. I asked for it for Christmas, and then hoped Smile
Does anyone know who created the artwork in the Hipeponymous book? I'm speaking mainly of all the crests, borders, and fine-line images of humans [the one's that look somewhat Greek-ish; give me a break, I took art history so damn long ago].

Any insight would be great.

My bet would be Rob Baker, but I might be way off!
Great package! I bought one for myself and ordered three more for friends and family for Christmas. I've never seen the videos here in the States and it was fun seeing the boys in the early videos. Brought back a lot of memories ... Bravo!

I've seen some comments on the new mixes and wondered what specific thoughts you all had. I know that the band was not happy with the whole Fully Completely recording experience but it is still my favorite album. I think the new mixes are generally great, especially on the more acoustic songs and Courage. Fiddlers Green sounds fantastic. I couldn't wait to hear "Fully Completely", especially after seeing that Gord Sinclair listed the re-mix as his favorite. I have to say that I was disappointed with the version on the set. I thought that Robbie's guitar was too low in the mix and I miss the way his fills kind of bit you between the verses. What do you all think?
If you look to the back of the book, on the credits page..

it lists Original Art by Rob Baker, Will Ruocco and the Anthill Staff...as well as a few other mentionables

The art is awesome in that book...i love it

I think that Will Ruocco posts here from time to time... <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.willruocco.com/index.php?p=5">http://www.willruocco.com/index.php?p=5</a><!-- m -->

The box set had extra stuff on the DVD right?

Was kinda of hoping my fav song would be on it, but it wasnt. Still a great show! Actually amazing show and love the fact I can finally watch the Hip at home instead of waiting for the next tour
