Man-Sized Eldorado Wrote:Just spoke to a lady from Maplemusic.com and she said that the $54.99 was the "band's set price." Can anyone explain to me how Futureshop/Bestbuy can sell for that much lower? ($44.99) And because of the free shipping (or just picking it up in the store), the difference in price is almost $18.00!!
I felt bad because clearly they want to make a sale just as badly as everyone else but a price point of that much lower makes it awfully difficult!

If I have the choice between buying something for 44.99 from Bill Gates, or 54.99 from a poor man living on the street, I choose 44.99.
If you can't competitively price your items, that's your problem, not mine.

What's there to feel bad about? I don't think Gord and co. are starving, if you want to keep supporting the band go to a concert buy the new album etc...If it was me I'd take it.
