I have mine pre-ordered from the HMV that I'll pass on the way to college tuesday morning.
In the front section of the Toronto Star today, there was an HMV coupon enabling you to buy Hipeponymous for $39.99 ($45.98 tax in) on November 1 only...

I cancelled my maple order for that very reason. I'm usually all about the small guy, but to a max of $5.00 or $10. When it hits the $20 range, my loyalty is sacrificed for the sake of my wallet.
I can't find my order number, and I don't know how to cancel it without it... but that's my mission for today: Cancel with Maple.

I know what you're saying...this is serious...we're talking a case of beer here...
Unfortunately, cancelling last minute through MapleMusic appears to be difficult if not impossible...there is no "cancel order" option online, and their order desk voicemail instructs you to leave a message that they will return "sometime in the next 48 hours"...ouch...perhaps email is the way to go?
I'm still pondering whether or not to cancel...if anyone finds out if/how it is possible at this stage, please share!
I am very glad now that I didn't preorder the set. I was tempted to at one point but I figured Future Shop would have the bottom price. Didn't thik HMV would step up to the plate like that because I generally find them overpriced. Good luck to those of you who are cancelling orders.
I left the message with them that I want to cancel... I'll let you know if I hear back from them.
$28.00 is a pretty big difference. I wiould probably cancel my order too if i had one. The thing that held me back from ordering it from maple is that i've been to lazy to activate my credit card.
