A sad day for music fans everywhere…
I got a notification from twitter that the hip's account had tweeted....a holdover from last year trying to get tickets for the shows. The notification just said "statement", with a link. I knew. Without having to even open it.
Feels like I've lost a member of my family.
Thank you Gord. Thanks for the memories, the music, for everything. For the words and music that have been so important through my life. In so many of our lives.
Heaven is a better place today.
