That is just beautiful, a beautiful tribute to Gord. Knowing how much he loved the game--seeing it shining in his eyes when he talks hockey--very special. Thanks for making & sharing it

damn... Gord's tune by Greg Keelor is hauntingly painfully beautiful

I agree, it's a wonderful tribute. Feist's version of The Stranger was also pretty amazing. Her voice just destroys me.

I remember whining, c2012, about the Hip's setlists becoming stale.

...

WHAT I WOULDN'T FUCKING GIVE FOR THE STALEST, MOST MAILED-IN TRAGICALLY HIP SETLIST OF ALL-TIME RIGHT FUCKING NOW.

Sorry for the cusswords.

Yep. I’m so angry about never hearing any of those songs performed by those 5 men live again. I knew it was over last year, but you know what I mean

I've gone a whole day without crying but that image started the waterworks all over again. Very moving tribute, the perfect image.

I read somewhere that they’re calling Gord the Terry Fox of this era. Completely true. From rising above the disease to complete one of the Hip’s best tours ever, to raising awareness to social issues - waterbodies and Indigenous relations. What a special and amazing individual.
