Even though we knew it was coming: Heart = Broken.

We all knew this was coming, but it feels so surreal that it actually happened. I feel numb.

You can never prepare yourself for this.
May his family find peace and continue to love.

A sad day for music fans everywhere…

I got a notification from twitter that the hip's account had tweeted....a holdover from last year trying to get tickets for the shows. The notification just said "statement", with a link. I knew. Without having to even open it.

Feels like I've lost a member of my family.

Thank you Gord. Thanks for the memories, the music, for everything. For the words and music that have been so important through my life. In so many of our lives.
