colinw Wrote:The site was SLOW, but I got through the process and got a confirmation for Moncton. Each page just took a while to load.
The prices are ridiculous though, these better be two set shows by the Hip. The Moncton venue is small and sounds great, but $100 is obscene.
They're not. They are playing with the Arkells.

I click on "Ticket pre-sale" on the home page, then it says "Registered User Pre-sale ticket links will become available at 10:00 am local time in each city." and all I see is Hide Cart/check out (?)
Do you see this:

No, no mention of maple music yet on thehip.com

I think any presale they've had on Ticketmaster has gone smoothly. It's when they play places with limited tickets who don't use Ticketmaster when there's issues.
Danforth was through TM. I got a $15 gift certificate instead of the front row seats that the website wouldn't let me pay for.
Glad I'm sitting this tour out.
Mr. Lahey Wrote:Done as well. It just gives you an order number.
When do we find out where our seats are?
For the Roger Waters deal, I was order number 100002. Figured that was good. Emailed them to find out when I'd know where my seats were, and they said they'd send an email a few weeks before the show, and I had to pick the tickets up the day of the concert. They sent me an email about 2 months before.
Now, this was a tightly-run website and things went smoothly. So if I extrapolate my experience to MapleMusic.com, I would guess that you won't find out where your assigned seat is until you have your ticket in your hand. Then, you'll arrive at said seat and there will be 2 other people already there with the same ticket.
sadohert Wrote:So far for me I've roughly seen:
1. Hip tickets page come live with the Kitchener Event
2. Added 4 tickets to cart and check out
3. Summary page with opportunity to choose payment option. No clue where my seats are.
4. Chose paypal, went through to paypal, entered credit card info (dont' ask)
5. Something went squirly, not sure exactly, but ended up at blank "refresh" maple music page
6. Bunch of refreshing, closing window and going back to "Shopping Cart" page, only to be taken back to the maple music refresh page
7. Eventually maple music page appeared to load correctly, but it was asking for th epayment option again, so I reentered my details. Submitted... back to blank page waiting for refresh
8. Finally page loads, and this whole "Complete info", "Submit", "wait for 5 minutes for reload" process repeats for each of these things:
* Shipping Info
* Shipping Option (not sure what there was a separate Info, and Option page)
* Shipping payment option (ie enter credit card details again!)
* < this is where I'm currently stuck... hoping I'm close>
You're at the last screen, I got confirmation emails before the actual site progressed to the confirmation screen
I'm at the confirmation page, but no confirmation email yet (not surprising given my account is under and email address that's a forwarding alias)
Finally! Do I really want to try for more?
Maple Music was good though - I emailed them at about 9:45 asking about the compatibility thing, and someone wrote back pretty quickly.

Nope

At the rate this site runs you'd probably still get some decent seats

got this
Your tickets will be delivered by regular mail and should be received no later than 5 business days prior to your event.
So looks like everyone is having some success, albeit through an unnecessarily long and cumbersome procedure.
Maple Music needs to have some kind of account creation, so you can just enter your email, pwd, and click confirm and be done with the whole thing.

Well, now that I know what's happening, I can minimize the screen and go do some work while I wait!
I've got the ACC done - now I'll try for Guelph and the 'shwa. The Oshawa show in 2007 was one of my favourites.
Just got my confirmation for 2 tix for Kingston ...45min
So I got tickets. I think. Got an email confirmation but nothing through the site. Yet... Hope yer all having a great morning!

I got that too but reading the confirmation email I received - it says I selected "gsSpecialMail" - whatever that means....
All I know is I just spent 45 minutes and a lot of money for "Level 1 Seating" and I don't even know what I bought!
